24 hours of lure fishing in Florifa heat is quite a challenge. About 3-4x a week I take the regular paddle kayak and go fish lures for 5-6 hours in the mornings and head to an 8 hour shift at work in air conditioning. I'm pretty toasted by the end every time. I couldn't imagine 24 hours of Florida heat (even at night it barely dips below low 70s late in the early morning) what an animal for trying. This dude fishes hard the entire time too he's not lollygagging. Love the content. Been watching all the older stuff catching up.

I will say pacing yourself is the way to do this challenge. Sometime during the 24 hours you gotta try just letting a live bait swim around for snook because its much easier on your body. Non-stop flipping a lure and sight fishing is what kills your energy.

Well it's a catch 22.. I could either be working a trade making proper $. But that means working 7am-5pmish 5-6 days a week (seems to be the average hours for most trades here). Killing myself in the Florida heat, not able to enjoy my afternoons from fatigue, or I can make 20-30% less $ but have every morning to surf (its been a flat spring) or fish still have energy to work. I did various trades for years, but I wasn't enjoying life, it was just work, eat and sleep. Granted I had a little more income to buy nice things. Tough call, but the truth is I've never been happier the bills are paid i can still dabble a bit financially in hobbies.

Mad respect ….when you do grueling type fishing …you should have a second person on boat to keep you safe …..I love what you do ,you gotta take care of yourself …wear longer clothes ,brink more and more water or fluids ….leed by example …lot of people watching you, learning from you ….love your victories and feel your pain on defeats.

That too, technically I have no lights on my gheenoe so fishing at night mightttt be technically illegal, maybe. Fishing you are probably fine but running around on plane probably is not allowed.

12 hours is a normal fishing day, i usually do 15-16 if the bite it hot, start at 5/6 am till a little pasted dusk, you can do it just better prepare yourself. Working outdoors probably gots me conditions but its possible, longest i went is 20 hours a few years ago 6am-2am

I hate this because now I can see my comment below which means I didn’t leave the comment prior.. I’m gonna do my best to re-attempt the comment I left before which I guess disappeared into thin air, oh well. - break- OK, I’m gonna call it how I see it. Based on your channel, right away I can tell that you're creative. The second thing I notice is that you’re consistent, which I can only imagine is overcome by your love of fishing and desire for others to gain common knowledge enough to make their successful endeavors. Dude, I’m creative as all get out, but I have struggled with consistency. but I also tell you what, I’ll be there in July with my family. I have a wife and a two-year-old daughter our household goods won’t get there till most likely August but I want to make friends with a like-minded person who loves fishing and you happen to need someone to hold you accountable, oh yeah, plus someone to catch more fish than you. My friend all you gotta do is invite me to come fish with you for 24 hours in that new inshore fishing rig you got. I saw the video last night and I have so many questions I didn’t even leave a comment. The Ghenouu ain’t gunna cut it if you take me on a 24H fishing challenge. 😂

Valiant effort there Justin. But I knew from experience how much a full day in the heat/sun takes out of ya. I was very skeptical if you were gonna make 24 hrs. Its just demanding on your body much less filming and batteries and storage etc… But at least you attempted it. Its only for younger 20 something yr olds! They arent smart enough to know how much it takes physically. They will do it and then pass out for 2 days🤣. Anyway nice job for a FULL day plus some!🤘🤘💪😎
