I have lived in Iran for almost 12yrs, my father was a doctor. I have lived in Isfahan, Tehran, and Shiraz. They are the golden memories of me. Their hospitality is beyond words. They have rich cultural roots and they have preserved it very well. Just look at their sheesh mahal and our sheesh mahal in Lahore fort. A country without cultural values is nothing.

One feature that has stood out throughout in your Iran chronicles is the cleanliness of the people and the places. Even the small villages and roadsides are litter free. The old bazaars are clean. When and where did we miss this page in our country. 78 years of independence and our people do not take care of their own surroundings. We do not have to be technologically advanced, but can we not at least take pride in keeping our country clean. Amazing job Iranians and may we learn something from them. Aameen.

Iran is a relatively wealthy country compared to Pakistan and India. Check out vlogs from Rwanda, a dirt-poor African country where nonetheless the people have pride and take care of their surroundings. The cities are impeccably clean.

Thanks for your kind looking. There is always a quarrel between strong and fine habits. To be and remain clean and save cleanliness is fine and hard to keep, but to remain in dirt is very easy. The quarrel between hard and easy needs effort and education. This has happened in our country Iran after revolution based on two foundations: literacy(more than 95 percent literacy for under fifty years and with huge amount of university graduates) and stressing about religious orders for cleanliness(النظافة من الایمان). The government pays too much for keeping cities clean and makes strong propaganda for it and nowadays remaining clean has become a national demand.ایران سے محبت

Both your tour guide and Mr.Sarosh, owner of the hotel are amazing people and I suggest Mr. Sarosh to widen its business and open an outlet in Karachi, which has some Iranian eateries since a segment of Iranian people live in that lively city.

Shiraz is simply excellent. The culture, cuisine, architecture and historic edifices are simply out of this world. Your tour guide Nadia was an excellent addition and asset for you to explore the city and understand the significance of historical monuments. The markets were sophisticated and rich in local handicrafts. I hope the copperwork tradition does not end here, but continues to prosper and spread its fame throughout the world. Mosques, palaces and citadels are exceptionally well maintained and have a treasure of permissive Islamic art and culture. An excellent blog Abrar Bhai. Kudos!!

Bro there's always those people who see themselves so superior and don't like foreigners in every country and culture, but the thing is that Iran has been a cross path between worlds and many people have come here and stayed and mixed with local people who themselves were from a variety of Iranian people, from those looking completely European to those looking like today Pakistanis to even Afro-Iranians in the south. We have been the USA of the ancient world since a lot of years ago. We don't have a negative thought towards people just by how they look what nationality they are. We like guests in general and it's nice when a foreigner visits our country. Peace!

I was fascinated how you show us food and their look and taste feels ( by your expression) great. Streets looking clean and road were wide, when I imagine cleanliness of ""Anar Kali Bazar"" I feel ashamed of our great City of LAHORE. Pakistan as compair to downtown of Shiraz. Maybe one day we realize "Safai nisf EMAN Hay". Love ❤️ and respect from Connecticut USA 🇺🇸.
