The way that this video was made, is more informative than many people even realize; we get to see angles by various camera positioning, and really put things into perspective that may have not been noticed before. I know that I have been watching way too many police interrogations, prisons documentaries, and court cases when I am aware of the cases of some of the inmates (such as Paul Henry Gingerich).

This was terrifying to watch because of the wasted time these youngsters are getting, they are literally wasting time seemingly bored to death!! They showed no programs that provided them with skills apart from the mentioned GED it’s a system of housing inmates heartbreaking and it makes sense that recidivism would be extremely high as not only do they go back into the environment that caused them to be in prison as far as I saw there was nothing that was rehabilitating. I recently viewed a doc on KZfaq about a phenomenal prison program that created 0 recidivism for the participants who graduated from it. The name of the doc is called Block5 . My heart goes out to youngsters it truly, truly does as they are our future .

Yes ik they did wrong and now have to do the time. Yet they are human. I know we are responsible for our actions. Many come from rough back grounds or dysfunctional families. In today society with the drugs n killings and gangs the prisons will continue to fill up to Now we see and hear they are over crowed and understaff and then the virus and within crimes are being committed with the inmate and authorities. We have seen and heard of families who did their best to raise one yet on the outside it’s another ball park. We should not judge nobody. You have children coming from families who have good jobs give their all to their children yet they end up in these places. You have children who don’t have nobody to raise them properly. Many parents are apart or single parent or in jails or in PRISON in institutions or DEAD. They have no jobs caught up in addictions many different t problems sexual abuse physically abuse the list goes on. Many turn to the streets to survive or lack directions and wisdom. But again we do have many who have all they need yet still end up here. I have g-son right now facing another case I’m 61 years old grandma who knows only god how long I will alive. I do know this if I shall pass away him doing his time will effect him cause Ik I’m the main one here for him and idk if I wasn’t alive it won’t be hard for him and ik this will effect him more. I did. my best while he was free yet like I said into day’s society life if very different, The struggle is real and ripping and running and fast money and addictions are a big problem with in our society. Just like bullets have no name nor does drugs and drinking and other behaviors. It does not discriminate. Has an effect with somebody you know. All I can say is we can do our best never give up on them and seek help for them and yourself. I struggle by the seconds yet I believe in God and if I didn’t I Don;t think I would be alive today and I also seek professional counseling and seek group therapy work with alcoholic’s and addicts. Many use or drink to change the way they think and feel. We need to address the under line issues to why we use or drink. We need to learn to find solutions to our problems and our way of thinking and actions, it’s a process yet ONE HAS TO BE WILLING TO MAKE THE CHANGES AND TAKE THE ACTIONS.
