Hes a qb but on the defense. Very smart player, and can read the qb, plays, and routes like tom brady reads coverages.

Top 20 is stack. Having ballers in front of you is no disrespect. In fact making to top 100, shouldn't matter the ranking is an achievement in itself. Being rank by your peer is by far the best ranking anyone can hope for. Not by dumb journalist, not by bias fans, not by salty/agenda driven coaches/front offices, not by jealous old head but by your peers.

@@helloman3676 Luke is literally the best linebacker in football, and has been since he entered the league. Bobby Wagner has ascended to his level though, so it's take your pick between these two. I'd go with Luke more simply for his diagnosing abilities. I think guys like Darius Leonard, Roquan Smith, and Deion Jones are the future though.

It’s kinda pointless of debating who’s better between him and Bobby Wagner they’ve been neck and neck and if I could I would take em both on my roster🤷🏾‍♂️ it’s damn near impossible to say who’s better if were being honest but people are to biased to realize they are both 1A linebackers above every other MLB

I think the consensus is that Wagner is better v. the run, and that Kuechly is better v. the pass. The tiebreaker perhaps is that Wagner is more durable, and availability, too, is an ability.

Legend__ 21 I feel as if Bobby can make up for plays with athleticism and Kuechly with IQ but Kuechly is strong and has some speed and Bobby Wagner has a high IQ also

I really don’t think it’s a stretch to say he’s the most intelligent defensive player ever. He’s not the most physically gifted, but he’s so smart and he knows so many of your plays. That’s just insane to me. He’s one of the most intelligent players ever period.

Play against him while I was FullBack at UNC and he was at BC.. funny story, I graded out the highest of my career while playing against him( 86 percent) the dude still had 19 Tackles that game and he was only a freshman. Unbelievable player. The guy he was starting in place of was The ACC player of the year the season before on defense, luke Took that job as a freshman and the rest was history. Yes, he took the ACC player of the year Job his freshman year. And should have won ACC defensive player of the year as a freshman with the type of production he had.
