Still things water Benders can do, if you look like it like that then the only air bender technique would be air punches and kicks

Benjamin Aldismo I mean they tried to make them balanced and they did pretty good but it’s pretty clear that fire is the weakest since it’s not very versatile and it has lack of defense. You also can’t trap, slow or wathever with fire

@@MichaKarssen Azula was able to use fire to deflect Team Avatars attacks tho. I specifically remember both Azula and Zuko using their firebending to create shields (Zuko used a fire shield to against Combustion man). I say they have a pretty good defense. As for trapping, the two dragons surrounded Aang and Zuko with a wall of fire, which is safe to assume firebenders can do too since they literally learned firebending from Dragons. Not to mention Azula IS one the most dangerous people in the series. Let's also not forget lightning and combustion bending, two VERY dangerous subskills unique to firebending. Combustion man was able to shoot massive explosions and P'Li was able to curve her beams. Honestly, I think the one reason firebending doesn't look versatile/strong is because the visual representation is just pushing fire out of your body (it doesn't require outside sources besides the reliance on the sun) instead of people picturing the vasts amounts of bending material like earth, water, and air. That is why Fire is the element of Power, it has a constant source (firebenders being the source of the flames they generate). I admit even I usually just picture fire nation soldiers who only shoot blasts of fire out of their hands. I agree they probably have the least amounts of applications, but we've already seen people use it in multiple ways (whips, knives, vertical beyblades, propulsion, etc.). I can see why people see Firebending as the weakest element, but it has it's fair share of versatility and destructive abilities.

Of course, all avatars are master bender. It's just some ATLA fans are so fanatic that make them trash talking LoK and thinking that everything from LoK is inferior. No avatar would be allowed to learn other elements before they master the previous element. They have to learn and mastering elements based on avatar cycle. Aang was in fact, the only known avatar to not following that guidelines lol. But that's an exception, because he didn't have much time to completely mastering the elements like other avatars. But later on he completely mastering all the elements. While Korra, she had formal training from all bending masters, wasn't learning in hurry like Aang, what makes them think that Korra hasn't mastering all elements? Especially water, her native element, she got Katara as her master, and she's known as prodigy in bending and combat. She even started formal waterbending training since she was a toddler. Normally a master would've let an Avatar completed their bending training once he/she is better than the master themselves.
