I am hoping fans of the series will have renewed interest in SCTV and will spread the word about this Classic Canadian Comedy Legend.
I have included all 185 episodes of the Syndicated Series of SCTV. Please note that the Syndicated Series has material not available on the current crop of DVDs, and also that the DVDs have material not available in the Syndicated Series. Please note that there is also material not available in either.

That last ballet skit (Flaming Turkeys) was one of the funniest pantomimes I've ever seen. These people were comedic geniuses. LOL.

The ballet was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Utterly side-splitting. And Andrea Martin must have had some real ballet training to be able to dance en pointe. Bravo.

I grew up in Brisbane, Australia, watching this show !!! It screened in 1979 and again in 1985, and we LIVED FOR IT !!!!

Andrea and Catherine are two of the greatest clowns to take the stage. Clown meaning, playing it big. Gilda matched them at the same time, but no else came close. And they're both still knocking it out to the back row. Emmys for Catherine and Tonys for Andrea.

Andrea Martin & Catherine O'Hara at their most artistic and graceful wackiest! I still laugh until I cry at their high comedy, Flaming-Turkey version of Swan Lake, some 45 years later! These hilarious two ladies dancing literal circles around the male characters--interspersed on the anguished peasant girl's part with well-timed, well-aimed, and well-soundeffected punches and kicks--is brilliant physical clownery at its best. If there was a retroactive award for comedy, these funny gals should have the first place win. Lifetime top comedy awards for keeping us in stitches all these years, at the very least.

Earl was clearly schooled in the whole "Happy Talk" ethos, taking to heart - and even going past - what consultants such as Frank Magid and McHugh & Hoffman recommended for news.

Phil McHugh. His partner was Peter Hoffman. Both consultant groups (and more) were looked on in great detail in Ron Powers' 1980 book "The Newscasters: The News Business As Show Business."
