In the idyllic back streets of Edogawa Tokyo, sits one of Japan's most well known Kyusha restoration shops. Star Road specializes in a variety of old-school Japanese cars, such as the early GTR's, but are most well know for their work on Fairlady Z's. In this episode, we spoke to Inoue-san and took out one of their full package 240z's - what an experience.

Yeah and Star Road especially, it's literally right in the middle of a densely built up housing estate. So wild. That's also why we couldn't rev the engines in front of the workshop.

These are quickly becoming my favorite automotive videos to watch on KZfaq! They're so beautifully shot and edited. Also the fact that Dino actually knows what he is talking about is a breathe of fresh air when it comes to "Vlog" style videos as well. I do have one question; What camera, lens and gimbal do you use to shoot the more cinematic shots? Keep up the awesome work! Can't wait to see the next video

Absolutely brilliant film. Really got the vibe that you were discovering a properly unknown and secret back street tuner shop, that no-one else knows about, sort of like how it was when I first started getting into the JDM scene back in the late 90's, before the internet and KZfaq made it so much more visible and accessible. No doubt the enthusiasm is very real for these cars and it obviously really shows. On the acceleration runs, the sound sort of reminded me of the LFA, with that sort of maniac scream towards the redline. It would be good to maybe talk or interview the owner and hear a bit about his cars, I appreciate not everyone is comfortable talking on camera but it could be a nice extra for any future videos. Top class so far, keep it up.

I love these shops, as you say, very Japanese style, and I'm a really big fan of this style cars, as much as I love the kaido racers this is the way I would go if I'll ever have a chance to own a jdm classic, as unfortunately in my country these are as rare as it can possibly get. Anyway, that red Z truly is something, 110% worth the money, as it's pretty obvious that it took a serious amount of man hours to reach that level of perfection, and what really is impressive is that it still is an old car, it still has the original L series and every other bit that, let's say, keep its old car soul alive and well. I wouldn't like it as much if it had a modern engine, those cars have their place, but if you can afford it this really is a special thing.
