I think it's already paid for itself. There was no way I was going to be on my hands and knees for hours with a scrub brush scrubbing every square inch of the deck. I'm too old for that stuff. :)

Good morning Chad, We've got the same Ryobi Honda powered pressure washer. I have been happy with it other than it seems to take a few minute to warm up before giving constant pressure. We also upgraded the hose to a more flexible one. That surface cleaner attachment almost makes it look too easy. I bet it would work great on a driveway before doing a seal coating. Going to look great when stained! -Richie

Thanks, Richie! We're really happy with the Ryobi pressure washer. The Honda engine with the automatic idle-down mode is great. And that surface cleaner is super impressive! We have another video coming out about another project we did with it. It definitely makes some tasks way easier.

Does the surface cleaner nick up the decking at all?

Not that we noticed. But it's important to keep it moving. If you let it set in the same spot, I'm sure it would damage it. We did notice that on some older wood, it would cause some angel hair if you went too slow with too much pressure.

I think it's the 3300 PSI 2.3 GPM one. It is the Ryobi with the Honda engine and the idle down feature. Thanks for watching!

That deck is nowhere near stain ready Clean. It's clean enough to actually apply professional wood cleaner and let it dwell for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse it off and then apply a brightener and let that dwell for 10 minutes. Then double rinse it will be stain ready Clean with all the organic contaminants removed. When using a pressure washer wand you fan on and off the wood. Never stop and start it pointing at the wood. And don't ever scrub the wood back and forth with the wand stopping and starting or across grain.
