I'm from Hobart & Launy is ok, but its a pity you didn't get out of the city area. The Tamar valley is lovely,. Around Launy there are lots of wineries. I love the Rosevears hotel, just up the West Tamay highway, about 20mins from the city, nearby is the Tamar Valley wine centre. Pipers Brook is a bit further to the northeast some 60km away, but the cool climate wines are great.

Hey Chris! Thanks for the recommendations 🍷 👏 Yeah we didn’t have enough time to do Tamar (such a shame we really wanted to). It’s a good excuse to come back for a wine tour!
