ശ്രീജിത്ത് പറയുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങൽ ദേശ സുരക്ഷയാണ് , മറ്റു രണ്ടു പേര് മനുഷ്യ സ്നേഹവും. ഇവിടെ ഒരു prblm നിങൾ എല്ലാവരെയും കണ്ണടച്ച് സ്വീകരിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങിയാൽ ഇന്നത്തെ അവസ്ഥയിൽ ഒരുപാട് ആളുകൾ നുഴഞ്ഞു കയറാൻ "വല" യില് ഓട്ട ഇടുന്ന പോലെയാണ്. ശ്രീജിത്തിന് എൻടെ സപ്പോർട്ട് കാരണം അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞത് നിയമങ്ങളും ദേശ സുരക്ഷയെ പറ്റിയാണ്. ആരും ശ്രീജിത്തിനെ സംസാരിക്കാൻ അനുവദിച്ചില്ല, മോശമായിപ്പോയി.

India had an agreement with Pakistan (Nehru Liyaqat agreement) As per that, India agreed to take care of Indian minorities (Non Hindus). Pak will take care of their minorities (Non Muslims). Two million plus Hindus got killed in East Pakistan in the 70's. Hindu population in Pak in 1947 was around 27% and now is less than 2 %. Same in Bangladesh. Afghan has less that 1000 Hindus in total. Even a Hindu marriage was not legal in Pakistan until 2017!!!!!!!!! People come and abduct a HIndu wife and same day marry her to a muslim. Husband cannot go to court as the Hindu marriage is NOT legal. On top of it Blasphemy law. You can be jailed or sentenced to death in the name of Blasphemy. There were 428 Hindu temples in Pakistan at the time of Partition and 408 of them were now turned into toy stores, restaurants, government offices and schools. As per the recent UN report "Each year hundreds are abducted and forced to convert and marry Muslim men. Victims have little or no hope of being returned to their families due to the serious threats and intimidation from abductors against the girls and their families. This is compounded by the lack of police will to take action, weaknesses in the judicial process and discrimination from both police and judiciary towards religious minority victims," the report read. As per IA Rehman, Secretary general HRCP Paksitan - "Case studies have established abuse of the blasphemy law for petty, often personal, ends. HRCP is consistent in demanding repeal of this law because it is damaging Islam and causing havoc to the majority community’s mindset besides making the lives of minorities utterly hazardous. The repeal of the law in the near future is unlikely. This will be possible only when a large number of people (Muslims) realise the prohibitive cost of keeping this law active." "Land grabbing is a national pastime. The government leads the way by seizing non-Muslim properties attached to shrines, churches, temples and public welfare trusts. The official managers of these properties are known for corruption. HRCP has not been able to adequately address this problem and it is one of the issues the newly formed HRCP working group on the rights of communities vulnerable because of belief has been asked to take up. As a matter of principle these properties should be restored to the original owners. As for trusts, their incomes must be spent on achieving the objectives their founders had set for themselves." Q: What progress has been made in the fight against forced conversions and forced marriages in the case of Hindus? IA Rehman: Not much progress. In most cases efforts to recover forcibly converted and married girls fail. As a Hindu advocate puts it, the police, the courts and the community at large lack the capacity to do justice to victims. There are only a couple of exceptions over the past many years. Justice is possible where society and police have not totally given up their secular ideals. Q:Is it possible to have “transparent and fair investigations” after attacks on minorities when violence and intimidation are often used as a tool by extremists to coerce the police, politicians and even the victims? IA Rehman: No. The extremists do resort to violence and intimidation to coerce the police, politicians, courts and even the victims. However, except for the victims, all others are amenable to slight pressure because they themselves are in various stages of conversion to minority-bashing. Q: Our police and judicial system has been infected too? IA Rehman: Yes, the community police and courts have been infected. Ahmedis are killed in broad daylight. Eyewitnesses do not depose against the criminals. The police are not keen to investigate cases. Policemen themselves have killed blasphemy suspects. The system has lost the capacity to punish those who persecute the minorities. Q: In many cases of violence against religious minorities, there is mob violence: people are worked into frenzy over an alleged case of blasphemy and buildings are burned, people are killed. Can the government do anything to fight this belief in mob ‘justice’ and to help instil the sanctity of the rule of law and every citizen’s right to a fair trial? IA Rehman: Mob violence has become the rule for two main reasons. Firstly, society has become more intolerant than before and has been thoroughly brutalised. Secondly, the clerics, judges, et al., have consistently propagated the view that the people have a right to kill blasphemers. The government is unable to stop such violence as its functionaries have been infected by the virus of intolerance and share the mob’s views; the government is afraid of the conservative population’s backlash; and the government’s writ has become weak in all areas. the government has neither the will nor the capacity to prevent persecution of minorities. The religious minorities are considered part of western or Indian communities or their sympathisers and are increasingly targeted in reaction to what is perceived as the West’s crusade against Islam or Muslim people. And finally, the rise of the new Right after the retreat of the Left in the West-ruled world has produced a backlash.

പൗരത്വ ഭേദഗതി നിയമം 2019 ചില വസ്തുതകൾ . 1. മാതൃ നിയമമായ ഇന്ത്യൻ പൗരത്വ നിയമം 1955 ഒരു മതാധിഷ്ഠിത നിയമമല്ല.എന്നാൽ 2019ലെ ഭേദഗതി നിയമം മതാധിഷ്ഠിതമാണ്. അത് 6 മതങ്ങളിൽ ഉള്ളവർക്ക് പ്രത്യേകാവകാശവും അതുവഴി പൗരത്വവും നൽകുകയും മറ്റുള്ളവർക്ക് അവ നിഷേധിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഇങ്ങനെ ഒഴിവാക്കപ്പെടുന്നവർ ഈ രാജ്യത്ത് വർഷങ്ങളോളം താമസിക്കുന്നവരാണെന്ന് ഓർക്കണം. അവർ രാജ്യ വിരുദ്ധ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ നടത്തിയവരല്ല എന്നും ബോധ്യമാണ് ( അങ്ങനെ ആയിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ അവർ ശിക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടവർ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ കുറ്റം ആരോപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവർ എങ്കിലും ആയിരിക്കുമല്ലോ). മാത്രമല്ല ഈ ഒഴിവാക്കപ്പെടുന്നവരിൽ ഏതാണ്ടെല്ലാവർക്കും മറ്റൊരു രാജ്യത്തും പൗരത്വം ലഭിക്കുകയുമില്ല. ഇനി ഏതാനും ചിലർക്ക് ലഭിച്ചാൽ തന്നെ ഒരു രണ്ടാം കിട പൗരന്മാർ ആയി കാലം കഴിച്ചു കൂട്ടേണ്ടി വരികയും ചെയ്യും. അതു കൊണ്ടു തന്നെ ഇത് അടിസ്ഥാനപരമായി മനുഷ്യത്വ വിരുദ്ധമാണ്. 2. വർഷങ്ങളായി ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ജീവിക്കുന്ന ആളുകളെന്ന നിലക്ക് (ഏതെങ്കിലും ക്രിമിനൽ കുറ്റങ്ങളിൽ ശിക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടാത്തവർക്കെങ്കിലും ) ഒരു നിശ്ചിത കാലയളവിനെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കി (ഉദാ: 1971 മാർച്ച് 24 മുതൽ 2014 ഡിസംബർ 31 വരെ) എല്ലാ മതത്തിലും പെട്ടവർക്ക് പൗരത്വം നൽകാമായിരുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തിരുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ ശത്രു രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും ഭാവിയിൽ നുഴഞ്ഞു കയറുന്നവരെ പൗരത്വം ആർജിക്കുന്നതിൽ നിന്നും തടയുകയും ദേശീയ സുരക്ഷ ഉറപ്പാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യാം. അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കാൻ കാരണം ഭരണ പാർട്ടിക്ക് വോട്ടു ചെയ്യാൻ സാധ്യതയില്ലാത്ത ഒരു പ്രത്യേക മതത്തിൽ പെട്ടവരെ ഒഴിവാക്കാനും ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയവരുടെ വോട്ടും പിന്തുണയും ഉറപ്പാക്കി അധികാരം ഭദ്രമാക്കാനുമാണ് എന്നതിൽ സംശയമില്ല. 3. മതാധിഷ്ഠിതമായും രാജ്യാധിഷ്ഠിതമായും നിയമങ്ങൾ വേറെയും ഉണ്ട് എന്നത് ശരി തന്നെ.എന്നാൽ അവ മറ്റുള്ളവരുടെ അടിസ്ഥാന അവകാശങ്ങളെ ഹനിക്കുന്നില്ല. അത് ആവശ വിഭാഗങ്ങളുടെ നിഷേധിക്കപ്പെട്ട അവകാശം സംരക്ഷിക്കാനുള്ളവയാണ്. ഒരു വികലാംഗന് റിസർവ്വേഷൻ നൽകുന്നത് അവന്റെ വൈകല്യം മൂലമുള്ള കുറവ് നികത്തി അതില്ലാത്തവനോട് ഒപ്പമെത്തിക്കാനാണ്. അതായത് ഒരു തുലനാവസ്ഥ (level playing field) ഒരുക്കാനാണ്.SC/ST റിസർവേഷൻ നൽകുന്നത് ചരിത്രപരമായിത്തന്നെ അവർക്ക് നിഷേധിക്കപ്പെട്ട മനുഷ്യാവകാശങ്ങൾ നേടിയെടുക്കാൻ പ്രാതിനിധ്യം നൽകുന്നതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായാണ്. ഇവ ഇന്ത്യൻ ഭരണഘടന ഉൾപ്പടെ ലോകത്തെ എല്ലാ സിവിലൈസ്ഡ് രാജ്യങ്ങളും അംഗീകരിച്ച പോസിറ്റീവ് അഫർമേഷന്റ ഭാഗമാണ്. ഇവിടെ പൗരത്വ ഭേദഗതി നിയമത്തിലൂടെ ഒരു മനുഷ്യന് വേണ്ട ഏറ്റവും അടിസ്ഥാനപരമായ അവകാശമായ പൗരത്വം നിഷേധിക്കുകയാണ് ചെയ്യുന്നത്. 4. പുരാതന ഇന്ത്യ ചരിത്രപരമായി എല്ലാ സംസ്കാരത്തെയും മതങ്ങളെയും ഉൾക്കൊണ്ട രാജ്യമാണ്. ആധുനിക ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ( 1947 മുതൽ) ചരിത്രവും വ്യത്യസ്തമല്ല. മാതൃ നിയമം (ഇന്ത്യൻ പൗരത്വ നിയമം 1955) അത് ശരിവെക്കുന്നു. ഈ പാരമ്പര്യമാണ് ഇപ്പോൾ അവഗണിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്. ഇതിനെ ഒരു നയത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണ് എന്ന് ന്യായീകരിക്കുന്നത് പൗരത്വം ലഭിക്കാതെ നരകിക്കുന്ന ലക്ഷക്കണക്കിന് മനുഷ്യരോട് ചെയ്യുന്ന അനീതിയല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നുമല്ല. അതു കൊണ്ടാണ് ആ നയം തന്നെ ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യപ്പെടേണ്ട അവസ്ഥ സംജാതമാകന്നത്. 5. അവസാനമായി മറ്റൊരു പ്രധാന കാര്യം. ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ഇന്നത്തെ പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാളും ,ബംഗ്ലാദേശും, ആസ്സാമും ഒരൊറ്റ ഭരണ യൂണിറ്റായ "ബംഗാൾ പ്രവിശ്യ" ആയിരുന്നു എന്നോർക്കണം.1947 ലെ അതിർത്തി നിർണ്ണയത്തിൽ ഭൂപടത്തിൽ വരച്ച വരകൾ ആ പ്രദേശത്താകമാനം അങ്ങോളമിങ്ങോളം താമസിച്ച നിരക്ഷരരായ സാധാരണക്കാർക്ക് ദൃശ്യഗോചരമായിരുന്നോ എന്നും അവരുടെ ബന്ധങ്ങൾക്ക് അവ വിടവ് തീർത്തിരുന്നോ എന്നും ചിന്തിക്കേണ്ടതുണ്ട്.കാരണം നിയമങ്ങൾക്ക് വേണ്ടിയല്ല മനുഷ്യർ;മറിച്ച് മനുഷ്യർക്ക് വേണ്ടിയാണ് നിയമം.

I am a politically neutral person. But for past few days,I was severely disappointed by one sided debates in all major TV channels in Kerala regarding CAA .. This is first time I am seeing a fiery debate where a person like Sreejith is able to put anti-CAA supporters in the back foot..I consider it as a healthy development in our country's democratic setup.We should be tolerant and open minded to listen to all types of opinion, rather than ganging up together and try to silence the voice of others..

ഞാനും ഹരീഷും കൂടുതൽ സമയവും ഈ ചർച്ച ചുമ്മാ കണ്ടുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു, എന്തായാലും ഈ ചർച്ച മൂലം അരുണിന് ശ്രീജിത്തിൽ നിന്നും കുറച്ച് കാര്യങ്ങൾ പഠിക്കാനായി എന്നതാണ് സത്യം, ഹരീഷ് ഇടക്ക് ഓരോ കമെന്റ് ഇടുന്നു, അതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാനും ഇവിടെ ഒരു കമെന്റ് ഇടുന്നു..😂😇
