Great review! Not many reviewers are reviewing Imalent lights, at least not in English, so these are great. I love my LD70! I'd seen other reviews talk about the MS03 problems, so I wasn't going to get one, but yours is the first to indicate that there is a solution for it, as well as for the MS06. You're right though--this shouldn't be happening. I'm surprised that they would let it occur on the new light when they're aware that the MS03 had the issue. Still, quite awesome to see the beast in action!

An excellent review. I recently purchased the LD70. I have to say that my magnetic charging coupler cable works perfectly. As it also does on my RT90. Both appear beautifully and solidly made. I would however make one observation, and that is my RT90 only had seven eighths of thread engagement between the head and battery tube. I contacted Heinnie Haynes (whom I purchased the lamp from). They were very good, as they always are. They went through their stock and found a RT90 with a complete single turn. To be fair i would have thought that the threads should have been at the very least two threads of engagement. Although the threads are nicely square cut, less than a complete turn to engage the two halves of what is quite a heavy flashlight, that if it were dropped at the one meter allowed by Imalents expected figures, i would expect it to possibly split open ripping the threads apart, damaging them beyond further use. I tried to contact Imalent, however as yet I've had no response. Which is a shame. These flashlights are not cheap so, customer service needs some improvement. I would like your thoughts on what I've set out to you. I agree with you that the MS03 & the MS06, are not very pretty. However, I think that Imalent recovered their style in the LD70 & RT90. Please keep up the honest, no nonsense reviews.

I just got my MS06 and I couldnt figure out how to use the holster rope thingy, I see two holes on each side and I tied the rope to one hole but couldnt do it to both.

I’m buying one for marine use - when you are out in the middle of a lake trying to avoid shallow areas and looking for markers, I need a good thrower to locate them and the shoreline !! Is this waterproof ?

Great review. I am considering the MS 06 (and MS 03), but the turbo issue does give me pause. However if cleaning the contacts is a good, long-term fix it might be worth it. Has the issue recurred for you on either flashlight since you cleaned the contacts? Also, have you heard if Imalent has resolved this issue in subsequent production runs? Thanks, Jeff

What's impressive is your show you have on here your platform is excellent and explaining this flashlight I have the 18,000 luman model and I had no issues with it and I love it I just wish they put the green light on the switch or above the switch for night time use does have two green LEDs on one side and the other so I kind of figured out how to look at one and guide me over to this which other than that I think the company's awesome

Great review with some actual real world use, rather than just beamshots against a wall. I, too, agree that, while I want to love the lights, they need to improve their build quality. I recently picked up an LD10 and an LD70. I love the LD70, it looks stylish and works well. But the LD10 is miserable. It has such a high vampire current that it only stays fully charged for about 3 days, even less if you apply electronic lock. While I'll be keeping an eye on future developments I'll be cautious before I spend more on Imalent. Such a shame, I like the design.

Just ordered this light definitely a bright one just wished I would of seen the imulent r60c,it has 18000 but the throw on it is really good and the flood is good.

I am kind of leery about it. I bought an Imalent DX80 (not 80 LEDs) less than two years ago and it quit working already. I don't know if the problem is in the circuitry or the battery.

I bought the ms06 and am about to buy another one for my father-in-law. But I’m having problems with mine. I cleaned the battery contact area. It still won’t go turbo mode. The red light just flash at me every time I try to use it. Please help

I owe you an apology. When I pulled up your video immediately saw Paid Advertisement ..and thought great! lol You gave a good review though. I have owned this flashlight for almost 2 years now. I love it and the amount of light it produces. Brightest light I have ever owned, people are in AWE when they see this freak of nature. However, it does have some minor programming issues. I contacted Immalent to purchse a spare lense was told they didn't sell them. Well what the hell are you going to do if you break it? My Imalent bateries wont hold a charge after 19 months. MAKE SURE TO LOCK THE FLASHLIGHT OFF when placing in the holster. I was wearing it one night at work, and it turned on and started burning the case melting a small portion of it. Literally saw the smoke rising that alerted me to some thing being wrong.

At the 25,000 lumen setting it gets very very hot in 2-3 minutes. If it touches plastic it will melt it.

I would have purchased both of these but there is a fault on the ms03 and the ms06 yet imalent still charge people £150 for the ms06 and £110 for the ms03... They should be honest about the fault and heavily discount these 2 flashlights not charge people full price then expect them to fix it with a chopstick (disgusting)

Imalent have terrible buttons, I still own three and they are amazing
