The stocking holder is so cute and perfect for the winter forest theme that I always do. My house is a modular home and I don't have a fireplace, so this is perfect.

This is the first time I've run across your channel and I want to say that I think you have some really cool ideas! I was glad to see you using some of the wood rounds for your banner. As I watched you use the canning rings and lids, I was thinking how cute they'd be on wood rounds, or even scrap wood pieces. I really liked your nativity scene! Okay, so part of my knowledge came from my dad when I was little. He was excellent at calligraphy writing and I was always inspired to learn to write like he did... I was never very good though. lol! Years ago, I found this free workbook, I think, on Pinterest. It's called "30 Days to Better Brush Calligraphy" by Dawn Nicole Designs. Free printables. Good info. I just looked her up for you, she has a KZfaq channel @byDawnNicole. Hope you have a lovely day!

Quickly want to comment on the lettering on your Advent Calendar before I get lost in your other projects. You said you were trying to learn to do some lettering. I think you have learned very well. Did you use a lettering practice book or lesson series? Which one if you don't mind sharing? Your "Oh Come Let Us Adore Him" lettering looked extremely nice in red. Then the fine black shadow you added just put it over the top. Good job. The brushes/markers you used worked perfectly allowing you to get those stylish beautiful thick & thin letters just right. Did you say which brush/marker you were using? I missed it if you did. Share please so I can try to replicate your good results. Still watching your the video so I may be back with more comments later. I'm really enjoying it.

I've enjoyed this video! It has really inspired me!!! May I make a suggestion? For your bows... (I learned this trick when I was making gift baskets at JCPenny) make small notchs in the middle of the bow where you've gathered the bow. Tie off the bow as usual. Now you can fluff the the bow without the bulk of ribbon in the in the middle!!! I was making bows with 14 loops so it was essential to get rid of of middle bulk! Hope this was helpful!
