While I was raising kids, there were days when I wouldn't sell them for millions of bucks, but I would gladly have rented them out two for a nickel. In spite of that, they both turned out to be pretty good people, and we still all love each other.

I am not sure if a totally silent room would drive me crazy in 15 min, the tinnitus I have will outdo that in a few mins. LOL My dog dreams, she dreams of a never ending supply of food which suddenly runs out. LOL

Tell me about it! Tinnitus is, literally, a pain at times. And my dogs have all dreamt (current boy still does!) No idea what about exactly, but it involves running. Not sure why because they're all greyhounds. It could be food, racing, chasing... No clue!

Most calico cats are female due to needing 2 X chromosomes to become calico. so my male calico, Humphrey, chromosomes are "XXY", and it's VERY likely he is also sterile. I also have a female ginger kitty. Tiniest orange cat I've ever seen.

My sister and I found a ginger girl while we were on a road trip once. She was also a small little kitty that we thought was an almost grown up kitten. My sister kept her and she did not get bigger. She was a super sweet little girl!

I wasn't surprised by the one about bad sleep making it more likely to remember your dreams. Ever since I got comfortable with using a cpap, I don't remember nearly as many as I did before being diagnosed with sleep apnea.

I'm totally not my "parents" favorit kid. I'm adopted and they treated me like how the Dursleys treated Harry Potter. Their birth daughter could do no wrong. My adopted "mom" told me in no uncertain terms that adopting me was the biggest mistake she ever made. She was right.

Another cat genetics fact: Virtually all calico cats are female. I remember a news story a couple of years back about a shelter receiving a male calico cat, and the excitement around the discovery. Also, I'm pretty sure rabbits dream. At least, the pet rabbits I have. I often see them twitching their nose while asleep, as well as moving their paws as if running.

I've seen about half a dozen male calicos/torbies/torties come through my shelter at this point, but I've been there for well over a decade and we get a high volume of animals. 😅 I adopted one of them!

Hi Mike, have always been a huge fan of List 25, hi to Tristan too. Watched this video and have a couple comments on it. If silence can't be handled, how do the deaf manage? I have tinnitus, so silence is seldom an issue with me, the bells are always ringing. On the subject of toilet paper, when I was really young, I would sometimes have to stay with my great aunt and uncle, they did not have indoor plumbing, so we had to use an out house, they didn't buy toilet paper, she would put her old Eatons or Simpson sears calatogues out there, nothing worse to wipe with than stiff glossy paper. To make things even worse they had a turkey gobbler that would attack, when you tried to leave the out house, so you would have to holler for help and hope for rescue. Growing up was interesting.

McSpaghetti is my favorite. I get 2 orders every time I go over there. And Banana sauce is great, no it does not taste like bananas taste like an 'off brand' ketchup . I use it in place of ketchup when ever I can.

My grNdmother told us about when the sears catalog changed their paper, & they had to go back to corn husk all the time. She said she was thrilled when buying paper was considered normal.

You made a statement that people used to use corn husk for toilet paper but showed a bushel of corn Cobbs and even said corn Cobbs were used but I think you meant the husks were used it's more logical than using the Cobb. Love your channel and your sense of humor you make me laugh every day!

Krakatoa was incredible, but let's not forget an even more destructive eruption - Tambora, in the early 1800s. Tambora was so destructive that it caused the White Christmases of the following years in the UK that prompted Charles Dickens to write "The Christmas Carol" because he'd never seen a non-White Christmas in the UK during his childhood. it was at least twice as devastating as Krakatoa, or so I've heard.

I asked my 13 y/o autistic son this question as I watched earlier this morning. He said that he is our only child, so there can’t be a favorite or least favorite. 😂 Then he proceeded to say that his older sister doesn’t count because she’s not really my child, she’s just his half sister. Oh, she is a child I wish was never born!

I am my parents youngest and was only conceived/born because of a local flood that happened 9 months before I was born. There were a lot of kids born right around when I was because of this. I am sure my parents had regrets because of the spontaneous nature of my birth.

There is a difference between a corn husk and a corn cob. The corn husk covers the ear. The corn cob is in the middle.

You make it sound like that volcano is super loud but honestly if it's at 180 dB for sound, that's not a lot more than a hand gun. I have a Ruger security 380 and the sound of that pistol is registered at 158 dB. Not sure how less than 30 dB higher sound could be heard at 3000 miles away when this gun can only be heard about a couple miles maybe

I am blind, and I don't usually have 'visual dreams'; they tend to be experienced more through scent, sounds, and feeling (feeling scared, sad, or happy), but I notice that in my dreams, I still look to my guide dog or white cane, no pun intended :)

= Sadly, I never have full silence because a medication I took back in the 1990s gave me tinnitus in my left ear = There are five children in my family…hmmm = The Statue of Liberty was a gift from France for our centennial celebration; I’m old enough to remember our bicentennial…and I was already an adult (albeit a young one) = Hmmm…I might have to stop proclaiming that Hawaii is the most remote place in the world, in that everyone else is closer to inhabited places than it is = The deaf sleep “talk” info is fascinating, and it makes total sense = White male cats tend to be deaf (but I can’t tell you why)

4:58 People regret having kids? I am not surprised. A lot of them don't realise how difficult it is. Sometimes it is unplanned, a lot can go wrong, things change, dreams are shatter, sacrifices happen, struggles happen. Sometimes births are straight forward, or some are an ever lasting change. I know that I am an unplanned accident. My parents told me many times, they often wished for a girl...but they are still proud of me in a weird way. But yeah, I am not surprised about this figure,, having kids changes the whole world

Oh, I KNOW I was unwanted. My mother used to remind me of it regularly, and that she regretted not aborting me. I was the result between her and her boss, and they ended up getting married over it, and they were NOT a good match, since my father was an autistic narcissist and my mother had borderline personality disorder. 😂

I now recognize my father as being autistic. Won't ever know what mental disorder my control freak of a mother has but aside from their being too young when my older brother was conceived causing a forced marriage, said marriage was a train wreck more than a train ride. Unfortunately, I was conceived when it was a ride. Dad left weeks later ...
