This is great, thank you! I majored in French, but I took like 10 years of Spanish. I love the language! I listen to music and watch movies in Spanish often. And many of my friends are Puerto Rican. I understand it pretty well, and even write it well, but I struggle speaking it. Like most people, I learned it backwards 🤦🏽‍♀️ I think your course will help me with the confidence to engage in conversation without apprehension. Right now, when addressed in Spanish, I respond in English. I'm going to take your courses, Rocky. I want to be fluent in 2020!

I've always thought that we should learn a Language strictly by hearing and speaking and then learn verb conjugation . like we did our native language.

I want to understand how you’re able to comprehend different accents of Spanish. Just like the USA people talk a little different everywhere also PR Spanish or Central American Spanish.

Oye! ¡Espero que todo está bien! Primera quiero decir gracias por tu conocimientos. Mira, tengo una pregunta. Tengo problemas con genero de las palabras. Cuando estoy hablando rápida mis palabras y artículos no fue correcto. Cuando hablaste de las pregunta “Que tIpos de películas te gustan? Por qué usas tipO y no tipA? Es porque de los tipos son un grupo, no? Now I over analyze all of my Spanish. 😩

Hola, déjame contestar tu pregunta, primero que nada mucho gusto, I'm from Mexico. La palabra "tipO" pertenece al género "masculino" y tiene muchos significados, te explico con el ejemplo que dijiste: "¿Qué tipos de película te gustan?" se refiere a la clasificación de las películas (kids movies, romantic movies, horror movies, etc.). Y otro significado para tipo y que sí tiene género masculino y femenino es tipO (hombre) y tipA (mujer) "someone you don't know".

Good beginner video. I would say not to get too hung-up with forcing yourself to speak Spanish if that's not your natural teaching style. Look at Butterfly Spanish, she's a native Spanish speaker, but she speaks as much English in her videos as you do (maybe more) and her numbers ain't suffering.
