Could very well be. Honestly knowing where Nasu's mind ends up going with this is in the air, any theory is possible. I'd think it'd have to be someone connected to the counter-force directly or in direct association with True God since he's responsible for ordering the Fairies to forge the two divine constructs responsible for defending the world, Avalon and Excalibur. The reason we can assume this is because Jesus Christ was more than likely a candidate to being the first True Magic founder and obviously with that there's ties to the actual Christian God, Solomon, David, that's way above Buddha, True Ancestors, Beasts or Grands given that Noah is also a grand rider. He's also apparently responsible for the decline of the "fake" gods and is the only one True God. I guess we'll see eventually. It's looking to go in that direction story wise but who knows, I'm looking forward to seeing what Nasu decides. I'll end it off with an interesting quote if you have doubts. @@JohnShepherd117 Lostbelt 6 showed that Merlin predated Sefars invasion of Earth as far as I know and it was the same time for Proper Human History. Oof, now that I think of it, it's difficult to say honestly. It's either Merlin was present in Avalon during Sefars invasion or it was his father. If it's the former then that means Merlin would also predate the two divine constructs forged by the faeries to defend Earth, Excalibur and Avalon. One thing is for sure, he hasn't aged so basically immortal in that regard but I guess that would make sense.

If strictly Shirou, then probably miyuverse shirou. If just any concepts of shirou-face, then either CCC Emiya or Alter Ego Muramasa. If strictly Shirou in the main fate routes, then probably UBW Shirou since he doesn’t have the backlash that HF Shirou has
