I believe most places have an ordinance against spitting on the ground but I would be surprised if it's been enforced anywhere in the last 100 years. Nobody is going to care about spitting sunflower seed shells over here. I just went through Hurricane Ian and they handed out sunflower seeds as snacks to all the linemen that came down to help. Fast forward to December, there are sunflowers popping up all over the city. We had a couple dozen behind our house by the electrical pole.

That last video needs a little more context, like what happened before the video started? Was he bothering someone, or did somebody just call the police because they don't want him hanging around? If he was causing trouble then yeah I support the cops but if they were there just to intimidate him to leave then I would support the camera guy. The video is from the camera guy and he couldve edited it to make the cops look bad, lets see the cops body cam video to see what happened from the beginning.
@kirikayumura6015
@kirikayumura6015 Жыл бұрын
My first assumption (from the narration) is that the cops just happened to be there, not on a specific call, they were just standing outside a convenience store. perhaps one or both of them were getting fuel, or had stopped into the store to purchase something and they were just having a chat with each other out side.. who knows.. and the camera guy saw them and decided to try to goad them into doing something that he could get views for. I agree, though, I don't trust frauditor videos taken from their own recordings because they like to edit out context in order to try to make law enforcement look bad.

they probably got called by someone, employees are often calling the cops if someone is filming them or the building. In America he is free to film in public places, but most employees dont know that Law good enough and think he isnt allowed to. its a cheap trick from these "auditors" to lure out police and try to fuck them over. Sadly they often suceed with that. The last guy is a first amendment auditor. There are so many channels like his-they are people who go to public buildings, ie, post offices, city halls, police stations, etc claiming to do a first amendment audit. They go in cause a scene, try to get a negative response from state employees and officers so they can make money on their KZfaq channels. Police have seen this so many times they just ignore them or act how these officers did and not give the guy what he wanted-a negative interaction.

There was more to that last clip. Specifically, the reason why the police were there at all. As with a lot of videos like that 1, the police are called in when someone is filming in public or on public property, which is legal, but somebody else doesn't want them to film. There are police and people in the U.S. that don't know, understand, or flat out care about the Constitution and the rights citizens have. That being said, there are many that do. Some are auditors.

From the U.S. here those police officers are under alot of pressure to show self restraint. Even in a verbally abusive situation like that. It could have gone very bad, very quick for the agitator but the cops knew better than to fall for that and arrest him since technically/legally they couldn't especially in the current anti .Police. The guy would have tried hard to resist arrest which would have put them in a position to use more restraint force taser ect. Hard to watch but they choice to use thick skin and defuse the situation. Some major cities in the U.S are now going from crying defund the police to begging for the police. It really a over worked under paid, life jeopardizing thankless job. Are they perfect no not do they get it right most of the time yes. If the agitator in the video is in some type of dispute, or needs help in a life threatening situation,.. he will likely be the first to call the police. I am for a basic show of respect from both sides and to understand that laws are in place for a reason, to keep caos from happening. I also believe police should try to restrain that isent nessesary. There's a fine line too little show of police authority and they loose respect too much show of authority and things can go wrong, It really is a tough job.

The guy being a dickhead to the cops didn't cross any legal boundaries. 1st amendment. There are some local jurisdictions that have laws against saying "pig" and whatnot but those are unconstitutional and should be ignored. One of the biggest problems in the US is lawmakers knowingly disregarding the constitution and passing regulation directly contradicting it. The 2nd problem behind that is that most Americans seemingly have never read the constitution, which is no surprise as most Americans can't seemingly read even a street sign anymore, leading to these politicians and political schemers to get away with that stuff.

Yes, that's right, they are just humans doing a job, and just like it is being an ass to roll up on anyone else and harass them while they're doing their job, it's being an ass to do it to cops. It's worse if the officers in question are actively trying to manage a situation because then you're needlessly distracting them and thereby putting them and the public at risk of harm.

The law enforcement officer is chewing tobacco. Not illegal. And any citizen can be a jackass .. which this *likely* [illegal] citizen was. The world sucks. Welcome to the USA. #TEXIT
