Cheap, unfitted suit.
Long pants. If your pants puddle around your ankle, they'll make you look short. If your pants are long in the crotch, your legs will look short.
Wide and baggy pants. This will also make you look short.
Saggy pants. You don't want your pants to be sagging off of your butt, either. Pull them up and wear a belt. Make sure your belt buckle is not flashy or big. Your belt also should not be a counterfeit designer belt. Choose something like an Anson Belt.
Too many rings. You look stupid if you have more than one ring on your hand.
Apple watches. Sure, they're functional, but they're not grown up. Upgrade your watch. There are a lot of fantastic badass watches under $100.
Fake leather jackets. Some jackets are more timeless and classic than others. Opt for a bomber jacket with a simple zip-up and collar. You could also go for a racer jacket without a collar that is age-appropriate for anyone. Biker jackets with all the zippers are definitely more stylized, and if you're a bit older, in your 40s, this may look funky.
Fake leather shoes. These look funky, and you should never wear them. Leather is higher quality, not much more expensive, will last you longer, and will look better. You'll be more confident wearing it. Spend the money and upgrade.
Beat up belts. Too many belts have holes, dings, and lines. Upgrade your belt to an Anson Belt with a track system. It's clean and sexy.
Unmatched belts. Match leathers to look stylish. You can add a pop of color and express yourself stylistically.
Dumb sunglasses. When you're young and stupid, you may be wearing stupid sunglasses. Upgrade your eyewear because it's a fantastic accessory. Look for styles such as the Wayfarer, Aviator, or Clubmaster. These styles are clean, classic, and mature.
Big, bulky boots. Don't even think about it.
Running shoes. Only wear them when you're running.
Dirty shoes. Any dirty shoes are horrible and are not acceptable.
Crotch-covering shirts. One of the big style mistakes guys make with button-ups is wearing them untucked. Guys think they can wear an untucked dress shirt when they can't. Button-up casual shirts are designed to be worn untucked specifically. If your shirt covers your crotch, you will look super short.
Graphic t-shirts. An occasional graphic t-shirt is fine, but one that is outlandish or offensive is not cute.
Big-brimmed hats. Be careful with this choice.
Baseball hats. When you wear them backward, you look youthful. If you wear them to the side, you look stupid. Wearing a baseball hat to the front is fine, but don't tuck your ears in. That's a big, huge no. I also make sure your baseball hat fits you correctly.
Little boy backpacks. Upgrade your bag when you're 25 and not living at your mom's house. Elevate your aesthetic to a more refined look.
Tight t-shirts. No, you don't look jacked. You look like a sausage and are trying too hard.
T-shirt with too long sleeves. If your t-shirt covers your entire arm, it will look smaller. Lift up those sleeves to make your arms look a lot bigger.
Oversized t-shirts. This trend looks okay on younger dudes trying to express themselves and keep up with trends, but as a grown-ass man, wear a t-shirt that fits your body.
Pit stains. If you have pit stains on your white shirts, toss them.
Items you don't love. Go through your wardrobe and toss or donate anything that you don't enjoy wearing. Don't keep it just because you have it. Make sure what you have in your wardrobe fits your body and makes you feel sexy and confident.

bro u hyping up leather as if it's some sort of god material. how is leather the best for "jackets", jackets are meant to protect you from weather conditions, leather can't handle hot or cold weather, it can't handle water, it needs to be maintained consistently with conditioners unless you want it to get destroyed and look like a bum.

It’s good for those really into the comic collections. I recall Spider-Man was originally a cartoon made on television during the 1960s. It wasn’t until approximately 2000 that Spider-Man movies started being made with real people. I even saw a short video of a dachshund (weiner dog) dressed as Spider-Weiner

A many hundreds of dollars Apple Watch isn’t necessary to just track steps and workouts. Shit is incredibly inaccurate in regards to tracking calories burned anyways. My “old” Apple Watch used to tell me I burned over 1,200 calories playing 18 holes of golf, riding in a cart. 😂😂

43 years old and I still wear original retro Jordan’s that came out in my error of growing up with some sweat pants or comfortable jeans, T-shirt and a Braves fitted cap. Used to wear suits everyday when I was in marketing and I was always uncomfortable walking around in dress shoes all the time lol but that’s just me though. I can still put together a bad ass suit where necessary

I'm an engineer, I carry 2 laptop computers minimum for work(with power adaptors, headset/mic, mouse and keyboard)... plus everything else I need to do my job (composition books, pens, pencils... etc). I need my backpack to be functional, not stylish. I don't care what other people think about how it looks. I make good money. Will I unironically wear a backpack in public unrelated to work? Not a chance.

Well, everyone should be free to do as they please as long as it doesn’t hurt society or someone else. The things Alpha talks about are all agreeable with me and I dress like he suggests for the most part. Alpha’s suggestions have worked for me both professionally and socially and I feel good about myself when I’m dressed “above average.” I don’t understand some clothing apparel companies who constantly display their effeminate styles on effeminate models Without naming any brands it’s overdone. I have a FitBit I wear when exercising or around the house. When I go out, it's a Vincero or my Seiko. I will sometimes do the kakhi with shirt and tie to work in the warmer months, but I am usually black, blue and white (not all at once) with a tie or bow tie when I am in the office.

I like Anson but one of the buckles teeth wore out before the belt, however I wore them daily and it took at least 2 to three years so there is quality behind them. If you want to have the belt last longer cut it with room for more cutting later as the buckle teeth can't hold the loosened leather backing.

Love Anson Belts. Bought the box set a couple years ago and love the number of buckles and strap options. Being able to mix and match is great. Also, Anson Belt company staff are great. I ordered a new strap and realized shortly after placing the order that it was the wrong size for what I wanted. Fossil makes affordable smart watches. The face is an analog with a smart background. People really can’t tell the difference and I’ve been complimented on it a couple of times with people not knowing it’s a smart watch. To me you wear a smart watch for convenience and accessibility, but if the only reason you want to wear one is to impress other go right ahead lol. Fossil watches are anywhere between 80-120

A lot of what you decide to wear will look good on you if you're in decent physical shape. I still get compliments in sweatpants/Jeans, a superhero tee shirt, and casual or basketball sneakers as I do when I decide to wear a suit I had tailored. It's not so much the clothing as it is the fit.

I generally like his tips, but he is way out of touch regarding the Apple watch. If you want to be an old guy who does not “get” technology, that is your cross to bear. But for the rest of us, wear that Apple watch proudly. It is the single, most functional piece of accessory I wear. I went through many watches over the years (mostly expensive watches), but then gave them up… until I got the Apple watch. Now it seldom comes off my wrist! Finally watches have meaning again. Until Apple comes out with displays that can beam things into air around me, I am wearing my Apple watch!

No Anson belts. They look like something I wear in the military. Also if you are wearing a suit you shouldn’t be wearing belt. With a suit you should have side adjusters or wear braces. Also crops paint look bad. The opening of your pants should be adjusted based on the size of your shoes.
