Truth, I’m so bored of my recipe rotation. I’m so glad I found this channel. I finally have new recipes! I’m don’t eat red meat or pork. It’s hard for me to keep my red meat loving husband happy. He’s very bored of the mostly vegetarian and only chicken and turkey meals I make. But, I can adapt a lot of these to chicken, turkey, or omit the meat all together. And keep both of us happy.

Fun Food Terminology: the brown bits left in the pan after browning or sautéing something is called Fond! If you add liquid to that to scrape it off the pan, you are Deglazing! Cool, huh?? My mom called those little brown bits, cracklings. 🤗 Now back to Julia’s awesome video…🤩🤩🥰

The Sausage Baked Ziti turned out awesome! I also made your Feta Pasta which I didn't think my husband would be crazy about, but he was! He packed up the leftovers for his work lunch. The only thing I would suggest is that you wear an apron while crushing the tomatoes, they did tend to explode, plus I might cut the garlic cloves into smaller pieces since they really couldn't be crushed with the fork easily. I'm having so much fun trying out your recipes 🥰

Julia, I love your recipes because they are fairly quick meals to make and that have good flavor and turn out so yummy! Another thing I like about your recipes is that I usually have all the ingredients available already because I tend to keep the same type of groceries at our home . I also like that if it’s a special jarred /canned item that is purchased for the recipe that you show us the jar / can or package of the item allowing us to see the name and brand of it ! That alone can really change the taste of a dish if it’s not what you used for your recipe so I really appreciate you taking the time to show us that information so our dish can have the taste that yours recipe is going for ! Thank you for all that you do to help us prepare healthy and delicious food for our families ! Blessings!💕

Easy fettuccine Alfredo; Boil fettuccine Melt real unsalted butter 🧈 sauté a little garlic 🧄 until fragrant Add heavy cream let simmer until thick Add garlic powder black pepper cayenne pepper and lots of grated Parmesan cheese Add hot freshly drained noodles to pan stir together plate (and I like to add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice to pasta ) it’s optional

I have been doing the paper towel thing for five decades. You can also if you have a sauce or a soup that has grease on top use strips of paper towels laid over the top several times if need be to get rid of that grease on the top after you have spooned off all that you can. Natalie Dupree taught the paper towel thing five decades ago on PBS Saturday morning television. I was more for cooking shows than I was for cartoons. :-)

My favorite is the pasta taco bake with the rotels. I am salt restricted..... so we all know what that means. Not too much indulging in season mixes. Ranch is yummy, right? So I gotta halve the servings, lol, if I want to participate. Love your vid. Thanks.

Thank you Julia. I know this video is over a year old but, I had to look for a good casserole. I decided on the Sausage baked ziti. I did use different pasta and I added spinach and mushrooms. Thank you for all you do!🥰

I make chicken this exact way all the time I love it so much. I usually use grated fresh Parm but tonight my store didn't have grated they only had shredded so I go it anyway and it was so delish. I love this chicken so many ways. Even just plain dunked in some homemade honey mustard. Delish. Tonight I added pesto on top after baking and a mix of mottz provolone cheese, a little more of the shredded three blend ( asiago, Parm, romano) and served with rice and some veggies and it was SO DELISH. I highly recommend it. I do a normal pesto chicken that isn't breaded but the breading brings it to a whole new level it's so good
