I see you've put into pics of Hedy Lamarr into Barbara La Marr's segment. That confused me a bit. After I further researched Hedy's history, I learned she was in fact named in honor of Barbara La Marr by Louis B. Mayer.

When I was a kid they had a gossip columnist named Rona Barrett. She talked like Barbara Walters and dressed like the Gabor sisters. She was Dear Abby and Perez Hilton in a snow white wig.

James Dean was gay, (as was Montgomery Clift) and the studios hid this from the public. A lot of young women fawned over Dean, and the truth was not acceptable at the time. 😢

I always think that Montgomery Clift looks like Tom Cruise' better looking brother (at similar ages) but I don't get the 'controversy' about his face after his car crash. He looks a little different, but I thought that was just down to being older, because time is linear!
