If you marry Harvey, he admits that he was afraid of us when w got to town. Since then, he has on multiple occasions seen us come in half dead from combat injuries and then go back fo more, sometimes in the same game. And now he’s less afraid????

That's me to a T! It has the potential to sometimes make me very sick, but an occasional bite of Grandma's Christmas cookies or my grandfather's freshly baked bread are so worth any pain! The more time that's passed between eating gluten the less discomfort I get, so yeah, eating a muffin maybe once a year might be tolerable for her.

I really like the merman theory, it just explains so much about his excitement with the sea.

I like to think he is human but maybe his mother or grandmother he never met was a mermaid? Maybe he knows, maybe he doesn't, but he's instinctively pulled towards the sea, solitude appreciation of natute.

Stardew definitely feels like home, and I've never been abroad - spent all my life in Russia. Perhaps it has to do with the fact that Russia is primarily collectivist in nature, unlike the majority of Western countries, who are predominantly individualist. This means that in Russia, we have always valued loyalty and a sense of belonging above all - above success and material wealth. I have a good example of that from my own experience. Back when I was at school, when I finished my research on language, I was told that if I were only to state that my affiliation is with a school in Moscow, I would get a pretty decent monetary reward from the government (because Moscow can afford to support scholarly work with its coffers). If I were to state that I come from a school in my actual hometown - a little port town in the South - I would not get the bonus, since there is no such program of rewards implemented in other regions of Russia. And I chose the latter - a choice my parents supported wholeheartedly. The reward that I could get was equivalent to $10,000, and still I refused. If I were to accept the offer from Moscow, I would be depriving my hometown and my school (which does not teach foreign languages in any form but which I'm still very fond of) of the recognition they deserve. The mayor of my hometown met me in person and shook my hand, and I was featured in a local newspaper. Not a day has passed before market vendors and bus drivers started recognising my face and smiling. It was the most rewarding decision in my life, and now that I think about it, I can't really imagine this kind of thing happening in the US.

I think Shane also has a line of dialogue if you marry him saying something like "the name Shane means 'gift from Yoba'..what a joke"
