When it comes to music, you’re actually given the option to tie it to ambience, voices, music, or sounds, but it’s set to voices by default, so most map creators are either too lazy to put each audio thing on music/ambience, or they really want you to hear their room music.

3:15 You can do that by configuring a sampler and putting it on music. Creators that put it on voice usually want it to be heard on the first play through as most ppl always have voices on :)

The moderation system definitely needs an upgrade, and those “VR players can walk and teleport” signs need to be in every RRO or near the “Activity’s & Sports” and there was a bug or missed feature where you could make a copy of the Rec Royale map, and it was my relaxing place after playing paintball or quests.

A quick tip for you on the makerpen issue with moving your walls, use the makerpen to freeze the walls in place, it makes them unable to be clicked on/moved while you are moving other items in the room.

I personally find the Rec Room keyboard to be the best keyboard in any of the VR experiences I've had- though that could be because I'm on a Rift (2016 headset tracking is still the fastest funnily enough)

about 1:49, i had this idea a little while back so i’d like to expand upon this a little bit more: what if in your backpack, there was an item called the desk mirror, it would bring out a small floating desk mirror in front of you and allow you to customise your outfit, and it would appear translucent to everyone else in the room (similar to the watch)

I agree with the maker pen shapes. Spheres have the hitbox of a cube and so do pipes (hollow cylinders). Why can't they just have NORMAL hitboxes that are what they are 🙄

Ahh! For me fixing hair going through hats would be a game changer! But there is always the adjust option, but sometimes the hair is still left clipping. I love using hats.

I love the idea of a portable mirror in the watch but I don’t think they will add it because of rec room plus getting more outfits

I totally agree with the voices and music tabs being linked and the favorite items should be on the left and the right!

One most thing I hate in RR on PS5 - optimization. It lags too often, endless map loadings may be in any way to any map. I sent ticket to Support for fixing those issues on PS5 but I hope it would be done soon for all platforms;)

For number 6 i think is kinda right but you can just do the share cam gesture( putting your hands in a clicking motion) to instantly bring out your camera without favoriting it. From there you could favorite the maker pen or the clip bored. And bring it out from your back pack.

We also need community created items. Also same for the community board. Yes obviously something had to be changed for the browser to work.

Ok big life hack : I Have my maker pen as my fav because you can actually hold down the button to make a pointer finger (the one to make the faces) and quickly drag it straight down to make the camera appear instantly. AND it also immediately takes a photo, so it’s good if you wanna get a surprise photo on your friends

They should add shape disconnection so you can disconnect shapes when you edit something so you don't have to delete it.

That winter themed quest has now really got me thinking like what if there was a snowman enemy that throws snowballs at u and another enemy could be an abominable snowman or a Jack Frost type enemy I could on but I won’t

There is already a recent rooms tab in the play section of the watch, It's called ''Keep playing'' or something. Also samplers' audio channel can be changed but many creators are lazy.

I think it would be cool if we could keep the Polaroid pictures we take. It Would be nice if we could just put them in our backpack and then Spawn the Polaroid so we could hang it up in our dorm or give it as a gift to one of our friends. It would be so much easier then going on rec net

At 2:56 I agree, but they need to make a dominant had thing at your most favourite item to be use on the deoment side of your body

If you shoot someone in paintball, you should be able to walk through them right away, not have to wait until they respawn, it's frustrating when you shoot someone in a doorway and they block you for 10 seconds in a small space and other team can rush over and corner you

The music linked to voice is actually because sometimes when its turned to music for some reason it becomes way quieter even when turned all the way up it will be barley audible

Recroom has a option were you can configure a sampler to music sound fx but people don't use it for some reason

I like the idea of a health bar in jumbotron but the thing is if only one quest has healthbars than the community will think that rec room is biased so healthbars will hav to apply to everything

Sometimes whenever I'm on my quest 2 playing golden trophy or whatever it is at the time everything will pause except the sounds and its just two circle images of what i saw at the time in front and behind, the one behind me being upside down, is this a game crash, internet thing, tracking issue or what ?

They need to make it to where there is a button to see wire mode in the maker pen. (Explanation):There is a button in the maker pen menu where it lets you see through the dorm or map template to see where the objects made by the maker pen are.

I agree with the backpack one because when i'm n my dorm about to edit I all ways end up pulling out my camera with out even noticing and take a random picture and then having to to open my watch menu to get the maker pen so I agree that rec room needs to fix this.

They should give us more ink in our Maker pens and the size of furniture. Its hard to make a super detailed item without running out of ink and the item costing 30% of an entire rooms ink budget. Im sure the well known creators get more ink but im not one of them :(

Apparently it might be possible for the stream camera on quest/meta 2 could potentially allow them to use the streamer cam. I heard it from gribbly in the note thing.

They should allow streamer cam for quest 1 and 2 ONLY if you are casting the vr live to a device. Therefore you can record on that device and it would actually work. Otherwise, you would be playing rec room from the POV of the streamer camera, and also the headset would fry.

Rec room needs to fix the lighting system with flashlight on quest 2 because it’s just a couple pixels but in psvr / pcvr / Xbox it’s A REAL FLASHLIGHT AAAAA

there is a way for the audio/music, but it’s the music creators fault.. when making a sampler for music, you can configure it to use either voice, or music. most people won’t take the extra time to just configure the samplers into music, so sadly rec room can’t fix tjY

These were some great ideas, I really want them to add streamer cam skins even though it is such a small thing. Also think they should add a feature to report someone who is stealing something you made (like a room, invention etc.)

Great video, and everyone make sure to spread love and positivity around irl and in rec room, as the Xmas time is almost here, it's free, for example in rec room when you play paintball, and you get hit just say good shot and cheer them, when they hit a good shot, and irl help your parents with something while you're bored, save up your pocket money, to buy your siblings a gift or your parents, one last thing, everything is possible in life, aslong you put your hearth to it, mutch love everyone, and stay happy and spread positivity and love around

I never really thought about some of these but i definitely agree with all of these And you can change your outfit not in your dorm, you click your profile, then you can click at the bottom saved outfits, then save em, im hoping us oculus players can get a streamer cam

What I really want is that you can make your own weapons with there own stats or change a weapons stats (And maybe coding but that might be too much for the Devs)

Make the logic system more intuitive. Like, I once tried to change the settings for an emitter so that the particles appear more frequently and go faster, but everything I tried just didn't work. Also, add a custom object spawner. It would make guns so much easier to create

Rec room should have other options for a dorm templates than the regular dorm (not dorm skins from maker pen the default dorm)

I’ve genuinely gotten really good at typing on rec room, I think the interactive typing is much better than much laser pointer things, if they change it I hope they keep the legacy keyboard as a setting

I think rr should change the “favourites” section to a “saved” section or something and have 3 different tabs in it. Recently played, favourites, play later. So often i’ll scroll past a room i’d like to check out sometime later, but the only way i can save it somewhere without remembering it myself is by favouriting it and i hate having to clog up my ACTUAL favourites list with those rooms…

They should add maps to games. like in rec royale you can take a map from your backpack. They could do it like a chip and you can set up the angle using something like a camera. It might be very glitchy but it would be a nice addition, especially to people with a big map.

Yeah that's such a good idea like a Christmas update to golden trophy or other quests and the whole quest will be snowy that will be really good!!!! But I hate the glitch in dorms when you pull out your maker pen and you just fall through your dorm

I 100 percent agree with making rec royale a open template. when i started filming my rec royale video i thought that it was a template that i could join but no and it made me replan everything. if they add it as a template i think people could make really good in depth video's about rec royale.

One thing I don't know if it happens to anyone else is when you make a tiny change in a room your making, your dormroom anywhere and it just sends you to your dorm even if your already in it. It doesn't save and doesn't go "leave room without saving?"

Rec room needs to fix the dorm crashing after adding 2-3 items into it, it happens to me all the time

Also for music I find it quite annoying as well, that is a user error though because you can configure it to be set to each channel but sadly a lot of people don’t use it

Watching the vid and I saw 3 and would just like to say that their is already a recent maps tab called the "continue playing" tab that shows you all the rooms youve been in Also 7 is aswell already a thing and really just goes from person to person in how they build their map

I think that there is a recent maps tab in the play menu on your watch and you can edit cap dimensions and positions. Correct me if they’re for a different purpose though. Also, maybe rec room could add a constant recording time of the past 5 mins to help with the reporting so that when a player reports, a video of the occurrence is sent with it to be reviewed.

Rec Room really needs to fix screen mode lobbies, it's just not the same as for playing on VR you get a very different experience. Description: You go to rec center, get little 6 year olds, hear terrible iPhone mic quality, then want to leave. It feels like your playing rec room, but cocomellon was the developer.

One of the ones a want fixed is a lot of favorites friends turning offline and having to un favorite and fav them again. Its really annoying becuase this happenes to lots of my friends, so I never see them on ever again...

"Recently played" is already in the game in the watch on the first tab on the games page Also the music thing is already very easy to fix the best way to fix it is to leave a room comment!

As a vr player, when I try to even a invention out in my dorm, I can literally NEVER get it even with the room. I just give up.

There are already fixes for some of these, such as there's a continue playing tab that's been there for months to go back to rooms you were just in, there's a message when you finish every level to get on the podium to continue, there's graphics options for pc players and I think psvr but I'm not too sure, the devs have claimed to be working on putting the board there for quest users and should be a thing when the new watch ui system is optimized better, since they said that the transparency in the ui system heavily messes with optimization for the game, (which the new ui will eliminate,) there's an option to not matchmake with junior players in games and in my opinion having them force matchmake high level players with only high levels players and vice versa would get rid of a huge social aspect of the game, accounting for only competitive players instead of people who play for socialization, personally I don't get the huge demand for new RRO quests since a lot of what people want out of them can be replicated by community made stuff, wile obviously without the legitimate coding the developers have to make them more advanced and have actual new things in them, you can still get a western and winter themed quest with current stuff minus I guess a revolver and new ai enemies, and personally I think the whole idea of being able to gift RR+ items or making aspects of it not exclusive just completely ruins the point, they're exclusive to people who pay for it because they pay for it, none of it is required to make the game worse by not having them, all of it is just extra convenience to people willing to pay for it. Some of it is debatable like them having early access to some CV2 stuff but even as much as keys makes sense to only give to people who pay. And, removing RR+ items yet keeping the other stuff would definitely not keep them in the same financial position, people usually get RR+ for the items. I'm sure they want and appreciate the extra tokens and keys, but for the most part the reason people get RR+ is for the exclusive items, without those the people willing to buy it would be a fraction of what it is currently, which is already a minority. And, not a fix but more of a comment, but Rec Royale as a template would already probably take up all of almost all of the ink used for building alone, I mean quest 1 players can't even play it. Park already takes up like what was it, 32 something ink? Imagine that but like 20 times the size, you'd be lucky to load into it as a template. Anyways yeah sorry for the novel, didn't expect to type that much but I'm a human with opinions too. And, extra thought, in my opinion the biggest thing I suggest rec room does to fix quest graphics is fix the lighting system, currently like all lights for quest users appear as polygons on the floor, neon looks shiny rather than glowy, and overall colors appear way warmer on quest than for pc. Making models appear higher poly would also be nice but I'm sure that would be harder than fixing lighting, which currently the only fix for models is if you have maker pen selecting the low poly object increases the graphics of it until saving again

There's this glitch where when someone takes off their headset without closing the game it breaks the whole game it makes it so you can't hit anyone in pvps games and it's just annoying you can't even kick the person
