A hammer should be a tool like the stonecutter, and it should also help with the anvil, like make it take less xp. A saw should replace what the axe does and also be like a portable wood making device. The axe would be used as a backup devices and should deal slightly more damage.

Be a tool to deal massive damage, but have a looooooooooooooooooong cooldown. Maybe both...? Here is what I think a saw should do: Right-click on planks to turn to plank stairs. Right-click on stairs to get plank slab. Right-click on slab to get pressure plate. Right-click on door to get trap-door. Or......... Be a tool to cut down trees and leaves. Or......... I think a hammer would be a tool to craft furniture and important blocks like ladders, doors, and fences. And the saw should have a similar purpose to an axe, where it can break trees slightly faster than a fist, but the whi tree will break instead of just one block (also it could do more damage than a regular axe).

I think for the saw you should use it to saw a wood plank to turn it into a wooden plank slab and for other blocks that can be slabs.

I've seen the "you can't place water on top of Redstone" thing quite a lot now, but you can place water on it, you just have to treat it like an interactive block like a chest for example and sneak

Crying Obsidian came back Once the 1.16 Internal Test came out, I explored the new Crying Obsidian and "Respawn Anchor". *I accidentally blew up and killed an Ocelot bc I had no idea it blew up when you touched it.* Edit: btw, It's the Respawn Anchor that blew up. Crying Obsidian seems like a pretty normal block.

A saw should be used to make slabs instead of the usual crafting recipe. You should have to use a crafting table or a new block using saws and then put the item and a saw in to create the alabs
