I just finished this show and I thought the ending was brilliant! Alex did an amazing job fleshing out all the characters and the plot. Genuinely surprised there hasn't been a Season 3 or a movie yet, but at the same time I can understand that he probably doesn't want to meddle with perfection. Wish there were more kids shows like this!

Bro I still remember when I was watching the final episode. It got to the end with all the credits and I went to the on demand to try to find season 3. I didn't find it but I couldn't find it. It’s odd to think that Dipper and Mabel are now old enough to drink. Edit: For those of you that are confused, I’m referring to the legal alcohol drinking age in the US. (21) The twins were canonically born on August 31st, 1999. So in 2020 they would be 21 years of age and thus old enough to drink.

This show was one of the first steps that rebuilt mine and my brothers relationship. For a few years we mainly only spoke to each other to recommend shows and this was the first one I recommended to him. We've been living together for 7 months or so now and we're obviously closer now but I'm moving into an apartment soon and so I've been rewatching this show and feeling sad about moving away from him.

Better to leave something as a masterpiece than mess it up. It wasn't forced or anything, this was genuinely Alex Hirsch's plan all along. Everytime someone tries to further a plot which was ended with a satisfaction by the creator, it gets ruined

I actually don’t really need a season 3. I have been with it since it first started airing but I feel that the show is perfect the way it is. I feel that Hirsch had a vision and he competed that. Anything beyond the 2 seasons would be an afterthought. It would be like a second entity, since it wasn’t planned. But that’s just my opinion lol
