I think the fish should be under your control to count. For bass that should mean hands on the fish, not just on the bank.

Noah, as a new subscriber, you have inspired me to go fishing again. I haven't fished in so many years. The only outdoors sports I really do is shooting guns, but watching your videos and seeing you catch those monster bass really makes me wanna catch one of my own. The only fishing I've ever done is for crappie and catfish to eat, but it looks like sport fishing for bass could be a blast! Keep doing what you're doing brother. Noah my thoughts are that the fish did not get off the hook until you had it flopping on the bank so yes count it. And myself as a newbie content creator I must say I realized just how much work a person has to do just to get a video uploaded. Currently I'm trying to figure out how to make one video out of several like you did with this one.

Your video's have been awesome. Has me thinking to getting back out myself. That catch on the bank flop off, would say if that happen in a boat the fish would still be in hand reach to get. So same rule applies if you get it to the bank. Little curious from watching all you vids. With all the change ups with bait, why not swivel it? I know it can be a personal choice and it really does not work with the texas rigs but think it would work better than have to retie on all the time.

I would say that doesn't count as a catch unless it's under control with your hands. Do some tournaments with Adub. Great team.

I paid $35 for a tackle box that had at least $150 worth of lures and tackle! Everything from blue gill to musky, and ice fishing! Nothing beats a flea market!

I look at it as you have to touch it to consider it a catch. I asked my cousin and father and they both differed in opinion with my cousin saying it has to just be on the bank. That being said my cousin doesn't catch many fish so he's probably willing to bend the rules at bit to start "catching" more fish XD

I've actually been able to capitalize on a 1/16 or 1/32 white crappie and white grub worm with trophy bass. Caught nice smallies and almost a striper. The jig I used a fly snap because I had 10 line. Line wouldn't go through 1/32 oz white crappie jig. A close to 3ft striper crushed it. Lost striper when it fell backward on its back and broke fly snap after I hooked it. I put lighter slime line so I did away with fly snaps. Lost a big smallie on a fly snap. I learned from my mistakes 😊

When I’m fishing I’m hard on myself, if I don’t have it long enough to grab a pic it doesn’t count. But you have it all on camera, so I think it counts

I was always of the opinion if it is on the bank for more than 5 secs or you touch it with your hand while on the bank or you grip it with your hand and take full weight off the line while it is completely out of the water for any amount of time it counts as a catch.

So what happens to the fish if they eat the soft plastic worms/lures? Secondly, I cant afford a high prices bait caster, are there some lower end ones you recommend?

If bass swallow soft plastic they usually can’t digest it, but you can avoid this by properly rigging them. For the bait caster I would recommend getting one from Kastking the are cheap but still are decent quality.

i think all the rules should have been explained on the go. i didn't hear that it had to be bass, so the crappie could have been debatible if adub would have lost. as for the bass hitting the bank, i've fished where they count and also where the count only if you touched it. it was a good challenge either way and i enjoyed it and no cash bet was made so it does'nt matter anyway. try a flea market or yardsale against a name brand store.
