We Searched for 50 year old missing person Thomas Lee Walters from Kinston, North Carolina who has been missing for 25 years. He may have been suffering from depression at the time of his disappearance last seen driving a black and tan Chrysler plate number FRA-1921.

I commented already, but Kinston has flooded out numerous times because of hurricanes. I moved here in 2019. Most recently Hurricanes Florence and Mathew effected this area in 2016 and 2018. However I read 2 hurricanes hit Eastern NC in 1996 after this man went missing. The Neuse floods often. The river, I'm sure, has changed quite a bit in 25+ years.

Thomas was last seen leaving his home in the 1300 block of Heritage Street in Kinston, North Carolina on 02/28/96. Last seen driving a 1979 Chrysler station wagon. Information is taken from US Missing persons web page.

The Neuse River has had some major flooding since 1996 from several hurricanes that may have altered the river drastically. Most recently hurricane Florence, but also Fran in 1996, Floyd in 1999 and Mathew in 2016. I live in Kinston but moved here after 2019. However, I read a lot of articles and was told stories about how bad it was. Idk if that would move a vehicle much that's been stuck in the mud though.

Yes go over it multiple times from different angles. If still in question try a magnet or dive it. Love that you try to find missing persons but still do the other clean ups as well.

Hey Adam a little back story to your truck driver crash. At the 10:15 mark is the bridge he ran off of into the river. He was recovered at the boat ramp where you guys launched from. Also that ramp was opened June 13, 2014.

All the states I've fished in require a boat registration for motorized vessels, gas or electric. Those states have all honored my home state registration.

What's the oldest missing person case y'all have solved?? Have yall ever looked or found any missing persons on motorcycles? Would a motorcycle be difficult to determine on sonar?? Im asking because there is a missing person where I live whom disappeared on his way to work back in the 1980's.

An independent 501 C3 organization looking for a missing man who they probably weren’t even aware of due to the fact that they probably weren’t even born yet, but they felt the need to exercise their authority and end your expedition. Yes rules are important, however they could have given you a break, offered to look up any case information or dare I say take the information in the event they come across said missing person. 🤔 👮👮=🍩

Adam did say the police were just doing their jobs. It was a small thing that can easily be corrected. But the police had to do their unbiased job.

No, only in the state you live in and where the boat resides. I would bet those boats registrations don't cost much, maybe $100.00 at most. I always am amazed when people think that it does not cost a whole lot of money to keep these government jobs going so don't think anyone needs to pay for that. In saying that I think that all states should have strong controllers and that taxpayers should not pay for insurance and gas for vehicles that politicians and government employees let their family members drive. Here in California taxpayers also pay for accident payouts of hundreds of thousands of dollars for their families accidents.
