Excellent podcast! It stuck with me when Leroy spoke of the council worker dying on the block staircase and he refered to it as 'the spot'. There's a podcast on Audible called 'Damned Spot' about incidents that happen that from then on that place, that area is 'the spot'. The spot holds those sad memories forever. Worth doing a free trial to listen. I'm gonna buy Out the Boxfor myself and a copy for my mum. She saw Leroy on GMB and was so happy he turned his life around and instantly said she wanted to read the book.

Another truly special interview, James. Respect to Leroy and the lady who supported him and encouraged him on his release. Imagine though if we created a world that brought out the best in people before all the crime and madness that so many have gone through before growing into the special people they really are - like Leroy. We have to do better by our young people in this country and stop this tragic cycle.
