Compilation of every iconic scream in Dir en grey's discography. While subbing Phalaris, I had the thought: "I bet almost every song has a scream and I could reconstitute them all as that." Admittedly, some are more howls, growls, cries, etc., but my criteria were:
- only one scream per song (the most iconic one);
- only studio recordings (but I cheated with Keigaku no Yoku - not sorry!);
- no words, so elongated lyrics that end in screams did not count.
Of course there are many songs missing: some that were softer, others that may have had lyrics screamed but no separate scream.
I hesitated a while about the title for this video, as it was "Dir en screams" in my mind but it could have also been: "The reason why your parents don't like you listening to Dir en grey". Anyway, this pumps me up, so I hope you enjoy!
