Me and my family stayed at the Base 77 in 2019. Hands-down its one of the best condominiums in Bangkok. Ten location is perfect with all the necessities within a walking distance, specially BigC, and the area felt quite safe, and was very local. The best part was that its quite far away from the party scene of BKK, and thus was suitable for family living.

@@kathyhirsch379 we didn’t stay there. These cheap condos are for long term rentals only, 1 year contract minimum The best deals for short term rentals (under 6 months) are with serviced residences, try booking direct with them. I highly recommend areas like thonglor, ekkamai and even on nut will have cheaper rates than the tourist hot spots and they’re still close to the centre. You can also try airBnB but remember short term rentals (less than 30 days) are illegal in Thailand. Good luck!!

Thank you for a great video. So I could just go to The base Sukhumvit 77, the Park west or the Park East lobby and ask if they have any availability and ask them to show me the apartments, and if I like one of them, I just deal directly with the people in the lobby?

In Thailand it is not allowed by law to rent out as a private person less than four weeks. The fee for an agent has to be paid by the owber. So as a client you don't have to pay fees.

Hi! I am looking for a fully furnished short term rental near Chinatown. My mother is wheelchair bond so the place has to have a lift/elevator. She wants to go shopping around and doesn’t mind the noise (hard of hearing). We will arrive in Thailand end of July and stay for two weeks. This was excellent! We have timeshare in Bangkok and love the city - but if we can get a month or six weeks for say $US100 a week - that would allow us to spend much more time there!

Normally the Khlong Saen Saep Boat eastern line , starts on Pratunam, they have a map! Not sure how far, but guess there is a stop nearby
