The Sumeru archon quest is by far the best we've ever got, not just by genshin standards - it's actually well written and paced. I enjoyed it a lot and you probably will too if you care even the slightest bit about the story.

hey i just wanted to say ive been watching since you used to make maplestory videos and now that im playing genshin after 3.0 ( i quit then waited till dendro came out ) its nice to have a familiar voice and creator that i genuinely enjoy playing the game and making content. Thanks for being so open and honest with your viewers Vars! The uncertainty of the future can be stressful and terrifying, but also exhilarating. Though, from my perspective of someone from the outside looking in, I think you're doing such a great job that your channels should be fine through 2023 imo (unless something truly random and awful happens). Managing 3 successful channels at once (even with all the time/money in the world) is no small feat bro, and yet you had the skill, support, and work ethic to make it happen. Mad respect! Also, have you thought about streaming Genshin (or other games in general) whenever there's content you have to drag through? Hope your holidays are great!

Vars, make a macro that spams the confirm (B) button. It's what I do and it's a good way to "skip" scenes. Tip: Launching genshin through steam (admin steam) helps you remap controllers and add macros to buttons. One of my fav macros is long press select to toggle "turbo" B button. I can start a quest, let it auto skip dialogue.

I actually had my best luck this year pulling for Wanderer. Not only did I win the 50/50 but I managed to pull him just before hitting soft pity at around 60 pulls. Also got Faruzan and Gorou as new four star characters so all in all a good banner for me. Only question now is whether I'll save my unspent pulls for the eventual Cyno re-run (the only character I lost the 50/50 on this year) or try to pull for Shenhe or a different 5 star Liyue during the next Lantern Rite event.

I really don't know why people don't like t oimmerse into the story, I feel like it's the best part of Genshin!

I know that its up to you but faruzan c6 is game changer for anemo dpses, you are really close to that. I would consider pulling for her. I know that decision is your's but you might not be aware of how it works so i am pointing it out. She will make anemo carry create effects identical to her e charged shot on their attacks. It generates energy, pull enemies together and gives all benefits of her normal e. It will be massive energy generator and grouper for character like Xiao or Scara. Also everything else she does its great too.

While i enjoyed the sumeru archon quest, i agree it was so long that i had to stop many times just to not burn out.

In my first 70 pulls I got C2 for Diluc(not bad,) C5 for Faruzan(sweet,) C1 for Gorou(meh,) and on standard for 10 more pulls afterward: The Wolf’s Gravestone! I just need 20 or 30 more pulls for Wanderer though...

The archon quests are really good but really long (3.2 alone was like 3-7 hours long depending on how long you took, if you skipped dialogue etc) and with the way your map is unlocked I'm guessing you haven't started Act 4 yet so if I had to guess on how long it could take you then like 8-15 hours maybe? These are just my guesses on how long it could take from what I remember so that may be wrong but it should be around that

Hey man, I've watched almost all your videos on vars one and two. My guess is you are in part concerned about your channels growth waxing or waning depending on the popularity of their associated games. Just know your calm and analytic assessment of game and character balance is some of the best out there. I'm sure your type of content would be appealing no matter what game or topic you focus on.

It took me 11 pulls to get him and his weapon. I was at 32 something pity on character banner, did one pull and used guaranteed. And I did one 10 pull on weapon banner cause why not and got his weapon at also 30 something pity. My boyfriend says I have really good luck on weapon banner. 4 times I did 10 pulls I got 5 star weapons (granted only 1 time I got a weapon I actually wanted)

I had almost no primos, pulled for Faruzan on high guarantee.. and got the big hat guy. I don't have Faruzan by the way.

I guess I hadnʻt thought of the whole youtube video making thing that way. I think Iʻve always thought of it as this awesome job where you just make videos, but I guess if it is your only source of income, its really not stable. Take care of yourself. With quests i usually just rush them as soon as possible, i like the story but it is so bloated that it is really not worth playing normally unless you have a bunch of free time.
