This foundation is allegedly going to give me medium coverage and leave my skin looking perfect. Is this just a luxury brand putting a overpriced amount to be boujee.... Or does it actually work?? I actually have this foundation that was given to me by my boss. I review beauty products as well as advanced skincare for a living and I test them on my own skin and then look at it under a light microscope. This foundation is actually perfect for that ‘no-makeup’ makeup look, but it’s nothing special except for the exceptional packaging. I have achieved similar results with a sheer BB cream and CC cream, so don’t buy it unless you just want it for packaging.

shrishti sinha Marcelle matte bb cream is the bb cream I SWEAR by. Also check out Missha cosmetics. They are fantastic for oily and acne prone skin since they are lightweight but also offer enough coverage for a natural look if that’s what your looking for. You can also use a balancing serum under your base makeup so that it appears less oily throughout the day. Hope this helps :)

Paige Dailey darlin, I've been shooting videos, getting ready to launch my own channel, and I've been around makeup and doing my own and others for almost 22 years. I'll tell you what I've noticed- knowing how much it costs can affect your opinion. I just shot a video where I had someone hand me 2 foundations in unmarked containers. One was $75, the other was $5.99. If you have a less expensive foundation you like, roll with it! If you notice, Manny, NikkieTutorials, and Jeffree all have drugstore brand products they LOVE. Don't sweat that price tag.

Omg, it has it's own coaster and spatula. This foundation is just inherently extra, isn't it? With that price I'm surprised it doesn't have a diamond set in it! 🤣

But TBH the coaster isn't even impressive. Plus the spatula didn't even fit enough inside. It was inclining to a side which was super unsatisfying and incomplete, like it'll tip any time even by a brush of air... That's a total lollipop shoved in their customers' faces and says a lot about the company.

I was surprised by the sheerness until I thought about it for a minute. I think it makes sense for the target audience. With the claims of better skin with continued use, and all the anti aging claims and such, I think it's safe to say that the target audience is rich "mature" women for daily wear. They're going for a natural youthful, all day every day kind of foundation, and avoiding the caked on old lady look. At least that's what it strikes me as.

I can’t help but feel bad for you for how you were treated by manny and Laura. Y’all seemed to have a lot of fun together.
