I feel that Velo was better suited for a Crash adventure game. He was too good as a main villain to be stuck in a racing type.

Well, to be fair, Crash has never been stupid. How else do you think he's able to talk in varying accents? Plus, Lex Lang's Cortex does keep the character of Clancy Brown's Cortex while also giving it a very humorous twist.

I have always felt this way. Maybe a little biased because this was maybe my second ever Crash game... but I never played the original and I also feel like the characterizations in it are really good, not overly cartoonish and stupid. For what it's worth, this feels like the "real" version of all the characters, to me. And man I love it when Crash puts on those sunglasses in the beginning LMAO the lazy bastard. It's aspirational for me.

This game was made in 2003. These cutscenes were put in the Nintendo Gamecube, PlayStation 2, and XBox versions.

They shouldn’t rush because developers was planning to make crash twinsanity 2004 but instead they didn’t have enough time characters of Nina dr brio and Rilla Roo and Komodo bro’s and everyone to in crash nitro kart 2003

SPOILER ALERT FOR CRASH BANDICOOT 2 AND CRASH BASH In Crash Bandicoot 2, N. Brio is a good guy, and he wanted to stay as a good guy, because his plans succeed as a good guy. In Crash Bash, he was forced to join Uka Uka's team, but he did not like joining Uka Uka's team. In Crash Nitro Karts, he can now go back to joining Aku Aku's team.

This is the game where we see Tiny's full character on display. Crash 3-CTR only showed his ferocious side. CNK shows that he's really stupid and actually even good-hearted, which Cortex does mention in 3 after beating Tiny. There's so much consistency at this time in the series.

The delevopers of CNK either they don't know to write a good story and copied CTR story or they were afraid to do something new or maybe both

But the story of Tag Team Racing was weird. No bosses and there was randomly a green guy, 2 chickens and a possum. Where do those animal characters come from? Created by cortex?

People just like aliens I guess. I read a fact that when Naughty Dog made CTR, they created Nitrous Oxide with the original intention of having the franchise "jump the shark" thinking it was the final Cash game, but it backfired and people loved it. So I guess it just stuck with the series racing titles.

I always imagined what Velo looked like as an anime human, after I found out he was voiced by TOM. (I knew TOM was Steven Blum from my Toonami "Deep Space Bass" CD.)

His French accent here made me feel some type of way as a kid. That's why I made a gijinka bishonen version of Velo back then who had the same voice, but a better appearance... if you know what I mean. ;)

Yeah there are a few characters voices that arent only different actors but just not as good. Crunch being a big one. However the opposite of that is also true. For oxide for instance. But velo is such a powerful chatacter with such a cool voice...I hope they get the original voice actor

@@mudshrooze Yeah, Crunch's recasting is especially annoying since they still have Kevin Michael Richardson in the game playing Stew, why the hell isn't he playing Crunch again as well? Same thing happened in the Spyro remakes, where Ripto/Hunter's voice actor came back but only reprised Ripto for some reason (and I hate Hunter's new voice).

What I don’t get is it takes place between Wrath Of Cortex & Twinsanity. The game came out 2003 after Wrath Of Cortex & before Twinsanity. And Cortex was stuck with Uka Uka on ice in the last game. Yet Cortex is back at his castle headquarters.

Perhaps Nitro Kart is non-canon? If you think about the Team Cortex ending, they get stuck on Terra. Unless CNK takes place after both of these games?

@@EmperorGeno I think the racing games are non-canon. The ending of WARPED saw Cortex time-twisted back into a baby, but he's a full grown adult again by CTR.
