Try shifting the banshee before it tops out. They tend to pull really hard in the midrange. Not sure exactly how yours is setup but it always worked on mine.

I have rode all my life , I was raised in Dyersburg Tn right on the banks of the Mississippi river . All of us in that area ride and faster and baddest possible . I’ve owned about everything from Tri z , 200x , Banshee , you name it , a 250r is one 3 wheeler I have always wanted , and I have raced a many of them . 250r a Banshee don’t have a chance again a 250r . That 250r was built to haul ass ! I’ve had one that would smoke it off the line until the power band kicks in and that motor comes flat out alive . I built a hell of a 350x that was something to respect and it was supper fast , still no match against the power band ! One day , some day I’ll own one ! I have to say the 2 I respect is the 250r and it’s tween the 350x . Wonderful job guy , you can add 4 muffler on the Banshee and it just can’t catch it !

I brought my dad's 250r back to life after 25 years, had it running like a champ, learned how to barrel roll it then it sized because I ran 1-8 e85 and 10-w40 and a dust mask taped to the carburetor as an airfilter

Man watching this brings back memories I’m 41 years old now and I had two 86 250r three wheeler when I was 9 or 10 years old and yes they are the baddest Honda ever and yes back in the day I was calling them my banshee killer and the only thing that came close to it was the qaudzilla

Seen the same big bore on a 250r at the Oregon dunes, its definitely at contender out there. That 86 is a collector's bike for sure. The banshee big bore is no slouch, and you can probably make it faster! Get up in there!

I knew the “310” 250R would walk that Banshee!!! My old boss had a stock 250R, and would beat the manager’s Quadzilla 500 until they got to the top end, then then the 500 would slowly catch it. Off the line short races weren’t even close, the lighter 250R would win every time. The 500 couldn’t get enough traction to make it close.

Poor Banshee can't get traction to put the power down. I used to get beat in short races on mine but would pull hard in 4th once it finally began to hook up. Spinning ain't winning boy's!
