Inferno is the hardest and most esper contingent tower. If you don't have Embla R2 / Brewster R2 or Abigail, eventually you'll get stuck and will have to perma restart for the absolute best RNG possible. Flow is the easiest, plenty of options to make a good team. (Gaius, Leora, Parmi, Ethan, Jiang Man, Kara). Wind you'll find yourself often going over the turn limit occasionally if your team isn't built properly but Yun Chuan (don't need R2), Gabi, Camille, Sienna, Ashley, Triki, Meredith are all good options. - Opinion of someone who has completed the current floors for all Calamity towers w/o spending a penny on this game (F2P).

I recently completed all 3 Calamity Islands and wow, Howling Pillar was on a different level compared to the other 2. Even with a Triki, the amount of RNG & retries it requires was insane. I think they should give more incentive to encourage players to play this mode and not forget it after a week or two (totally happened to me). For example : a new legendary gold record that gives a Wind / Flow / Inferno Esper upon floor 260 completion (ideally guaranteed drop or with a decent probabilty). Or something smaller but still rewarding : same Ripples boxes as we get from Celestial Anomaly. Let's 5 boxes every 10 floor, starting at floor 210 (so you get 25 boxes upon completion). Currently it has very little reward for a game mode that is supposed to be difficult.

There was this one stage of Burning Pillar that took me forever before Yuuhime came out and I didn’t have r2 Embla or Brewster. It has those three lotus things that transform. Worst thing ever because if you kill them with an avatar proc they will attack again and they hit sooo hard. Howling Pillar was pretty easy all the way through especially with YC and then Loki at the end. The Flow one was interesting because it pushed me to use Kaylee for the first time 💀 I liked the content because of the awards, but I’m not a fan of the date restrictions to do them.

I did Howling Pillar 260 with Triki first try. I recommend to anyone who has problems against JYY to use him too.

I haven't really touched it, I'm stuck at certain floors and I'm kinda just waiting for different espers. Or to upgrade my espers, mostly make them faster.

Once it started getting hard at 100+ I ignored it mainly because it takes longer to clear stages and I have to think about team combs sometimes

Calamity island is basically if the enemy moves just close the game. Like why are supports one shotting me 😂 there's no room for error. The furthest I've gone is surging 234.

So far surging Pillar is my best, I'm at 230 with no problems so far. As for the howling and burning pillars, I'm stuck on 155 and 170 respectively, both have Jin Yuyao at the final stage. I hate her so much😃

JYY is my absolute bane in this content. I am still stuck in 175F in burning pillar because of the JYY/double Ife/Aphrodite comp. I am using the comp most others seem to use n it is simply not working.
