That’s because she speaks very slow in order to be understood more easily, nobody in Italy speaks like that (I’m Italian)

I am learning multiple languages, and watching the videos multiple times over a period of time, trying to use as many subs as possible, such as the Icelandic sub and the Dutch sub and the Norwegian sub etc to learn new words in those languages as well, while also learning more Italian - it also helps a lot that I am already native speaker level in Spanish, which is very similar to Italian, because I learned Spanish in childhood 100% passively by just watching a lot of movies and TV series in Spanish and learning lyrics etc, so I can understand over 70% and sometimes 80% of the words spoken in Italian, and am advanced level in Dutch, and close to intermediate level in Italian, and also intermediate level in Norwegian / German / Swedish and Brazilian Portuguese, which makes is easier for me to pick up many new words, even if I only watch it once with each sub, plus I watch many videos, so I usually see most new words again and again over a period of time, and the new words become part of my permanent memory and automatic memory once I see each new word enough times!

I like the way you pronounce the words, it makes it easier. Italian is the prettiest language....ah...and your English is very good! I just subscribed I decided I want to learn Italian since I had an Italian grandmother but she never spoke Italian to the kids, only the adults so we couldn't understand what they were saying (lol!). I loved my grandma though!

You can go to settings near the video and change the speed, maybe it helps

She's already speaking slowly for an Italian. As Semela said, you can slow down the speed in the video settings.

love your videos Lucrezia! I don't know if someone has already made a comment about it, but for 'chiudere un occhio' there is a similar idiom in English 'to turn a blind eye to something', which means to deliberately ignore.

Guven, if you're going to use an adverb+adjective combo (molto dolce), it's best to put it AFTER the noun (Sei una insegnante molto dolce). I bet Lucrezia would agree.
