Thanks for posting this. I have some super 8 footage of Torquay from 1967, including clips of Redgate Beach. On a sunny summers day looks idyllic, vibrant and almost Mediterranean. So different today, took a while for me to identify which beach.

Hats, cardigans, men in jackets and ties. And that's while sitting in a deck chair! Those were the days....
