We have plenty of dog towels due to the snow here... between my husband, son and myself, we have lots of long hair, our Sheltie leaves a lot too. We joke about the tumbleweeds in our home, lol. Hi Randi! I have definitely learned a few housekeeping tricks from you...thank you. I love the idea of the dogs rattling the bells to go out. How did you teach them that! Smart pups! We have 2 dogs that just stare at us when they need to go out and only 1 barks to come back in, the other not so smart. Lol.

the most direct way to teach that behavior is the tap the bells yourself when you take them outside, and say the word, "Outside" or "potty." Whatever word they already know. After a while they'll catch on and hit the bells. The first time they hit the bell themselves, reward them with a treat and let them out, no fuss.

It's a bit of a process. 1. Hold a treat next to the bell so they have to "accidentally" ring the bell to get the treat. 2. gradually, move the treat a way from the bell so they have to ring it to get the treat. 3. then open the door every time they ring the bell. How long it takes just depends on the dog. We have Aussies, so It only took a few hours to teach them.

Years ago, I had a Cocker Spaniel that I taught to ring a cord of brass Indian bells. (Yes, my hippie days.) I took her paw and hit the bells, and opened the door. She caught on very quickly. Randy, I enjoy your channel. So glad I found it! I'm in poor health right now and not able to clean. I hired a cleaning service and they were SO not thorough! So, I get a lift from watching you do what I cannot. (I'm going to have procedures to address some of my health issues, so hopefully I can get back into it! ) I noticed in one video (or more) that you have empty kitty litter buckets and you have a plaque in the bathroom that talks about cats. Did you used to have cats? And lastly, I love when you are more chatty in your videos vs more music. Ok, one more last thing: I would love to see a q&a video.

My husband gave me that same Dyson vacuum, and I wanted to know how do you clean it after vacuuming the house? Since I imagine it will accumulate dust as well. My husband use the leaf blower to blow the dust out of the machine. we blow out the filter and rinse it with water. Canned air for electronics works, too. 🥰

One of the reasons I roll those towels is because they stay together. I tight roll helps the "tuck" stay put. I can toss them around like a foot ball.😂

It’s 12:49pm, Sunday. January 29th. How much time do you usually spend on your zones? I have trouble getting sidetracked very easily not staying in one place. I’ll take some laundry to put up then end up in that room. Very scattered and inefficient. I also get very overwhelmed. Your videos are very motivating and relaxing at the same time. ❤

Hi. I hope you are well. I am curious, do you have a calendar or something to keep you on track or organized so that you know what zone you are doing when. You said when you don't complete something in a zone one day, you will finish it before the next zone you start. Do you just remember? Also, your hair has gotten so long. It is very pretty. HI Denise. Cleaning by task helps me keep track. But I also use a check list to help me keep track. I use an app called Tody. It's a great tool for starting routines.

Hi Claudia! Yes they are LG. I usually add the info to the description box. They are beautiful and sooo quiet. The one feature I REALLY don’t like is there is no way to know how much soap to use. The washer weighs the laundry and decides how much water to use. And I have to guess how much detergent to use. Not enough and clothes don’t come clean; too much and the washer stops working 🤦🏼‍♀️

It’s customary here where I live (Hawaii) that outside shoes come off before entering the home. I can’t walk barefoot anymore, so I have a dedicated pair of slippers (crocs dual comfort, awesome support) that are only worn indoors. All that nasty dirt stays outside. Less cleaning to do!

Alcohol is sold at 70%. I just put it in a spray bottle. I use 1 cup water, one cup vinegar. 1/2 teaspoon dish soap.

@@27foxplace Szia mindig mondták hogy a magyar nyelv milyen nehéz túlzónak találtam de mára már tudom tényleg semmihez se hasonlítható nyelv Németül tanultam középiskolában most pár éve tanulok horvàt nyelven és számomra is érdekes hogy a Kárpát medence körbe körülöttünk szláv anyanyelvű és mi itt vagyunk középen a sajátos nyelvünkkel.😉😃

I can’t thank you enough for helping! 😂 food containers with handles? The acrylic organizers, maybe 🤔 I don’t have a link for those because they’re usually overpriced. And they’re sold out if they’re reasonably priced. IDESIGN is a good brand. Sometimes you can find a good price on Amazon. I look for them every time I go to places like Walmart.

Folding socks is the worst. I don't know why it feels so annoying and tedious. I love the little sleeping gargoyle. My husband doesn't understand watching cleaning motivation videos, but when I am done working out and having my coffee, watching your videos does help motivate me to tackle a zone or at least part of a zone that day. Your cleaning approach is practical. I have watched people before that do these monster cleaning days and I just don't think cleaning from morning to dusk is practical or sustainable for the average person.

I came up with my routines through trial and error. Kind of cross between Clean Mama and Fly Lady.

do you still go barefoot in your house in this video you wore sneakers? how often do you go outside barefoot for example in your yard, at the park, or just hanging out on your blanket outdoors?

I usually wear shoes outside. I hurt my foot, so I've been wearing shoes in the house until it's better

Could you just put all of your husband’s long socks together loose in the drawer and he just pulls out two at a time? Just a thought since you dislike dealing with them.

Hi Laura! It would be so much easier to toss them in a drawer. 😂 Folding saves space; So I fold them. 🤦🏼‍♀️
