28.01.2020 - VN24 - dump truck lays down on the motorway - shutdown the A45

VN24 - Schwerte / Germany - A 51 year old truck driver was involved in an accident on Tuesday (28.1.2020) on the motorway A45 near Schwerte-Ergste. Around 11:40 a.m. behind the Ergste exit in the direction of Dortmund, a spring of the chassis on the trailer apparently broke and a tyre detached. The truck then skidded and the trailer overturned. The load of about 20 tons of gravel poured over the entire roadway. The driver has remained uninjured. The A45 in the direction of Dortmund had to be closed since 11.50 a.m. for clearing and cleaning the accident site. The police diverted traffic away from the A45 at the Ergste exit and reopened it via the ramp towards Dortmund. The traffic jam caused by the accident was ten kilometers long. The motorway could not be opened to traffic again until around 5:45 pm.

Thanks for NOT playing some kind of loud music on the background of your clips. You can not watch anything these days without some sort of loud music that over power the whole clip if the music is more important than what they are showing.

I have watched quite a few recoveries mostly of HGVs, I am curious having run commercial vehicles in GB , do the same maintenance regulations apply on the continent as here because the poor condition of some of the vehicles shown beggars belief

every country has its own regulations. It's my impression (as a Dane) that Germany has fairly strict regulations, but don't have the resources to ensure anyone comply with them. They also have the problem that they border half of Europe, so they get a lot of foreign trucks from Eastern Europe that don't live up to even the most basic regulations regarding brakes and tires, and are driven by drivers who don't follow the rest rules or speed limits, and are generally not qualified to drive a goods vehicle. In Denmark trucks have to be inspected every other year (similar to your MOT) and anything out of order has to be fixed within two weeks from the inspection, otherwise the plates are seized and they're not allowed to move the vehicle to anywhere but the repair shop until it's brought into compliance.

Sieht man doch - sie hängt die Seile ein (14:25). Vielleicht ist das aber ein Familien-Betrieb und sie ist in der Ausbildung. Schon mal DA DRAN gedacht ??

Und die Polizisten die oben den Verkehr geregelt hatten tatten mir etwas Leid,weil es A geregnet hatte wie verrückt und B Sie Hoffnungslos überfordert waren,weil es zu viel Verkehr an jeder Seite gab und nur 1 Blauchlicht auf dem Zivilen PKW schon etwas Mau und einige sind ohne Warnweste gelaufen. Siehst du Schutzmann's Brust oder Rücken musst du auf die Bremse Drücken:). Gruß ein Fernfahrer aus Passau

Indeed Kollmer and Widliczek from the Ruhr area have a top-notch experience and seem to get faster to the right method and right rigging... What I would like to see here is how they get the semitrailer away with the broken axle...

Moin, ja leider sehr gefährlich alles ziemlich unprofessionell. der Einweiser (mit Brille)wird meistens gar nicht gesehen. unter der kleinen sattelplatte fehlen die sicherungsbolzen!

Schön ist anders. Die Bergung hätte Professioneller sein können. Ich hätte den Auflieger auf einen Tieflader mit dem Kran gesetzt anstatt so lange mit dem Königszapfen und dem Lkw zu hantieren.

段取りが悪い、日頃のスタッフ訓練、ワイヤー通しガイドロープの用意、車体への引き上げの為の玉掛け場所の不適当、重心位置の段取り不足、勤勉なドイツ人にしては失望する、こんなサルベージ作業中型ユンボ一台でレスキューできる、俺が経験者俺一人で始末した、段取り一番、重心位置の把握を研修されたい。

Dieses Video gehört nicht ins Internet. Alles sieht absolut Unprofessionell aus. Den Auflieger hätte man ohne den Kran bergen können. Und was die Arbeitssicherheit angeht, kann man es schlechter kaum machen.
