I love how you say your family will eat one bag. I keep thinking, for now. Once the younger boys hit teenage years, it will be 2 or 3 bags per meal. I am reminded of my family. 5 older brothers pretty much teenagers at the same time. There was never any leftovers. My brothers were bottomless pits with hollow legs.
@JamerrillStewart
@JamerrillStewart 2 жыл бұрын
Well, I already have teenagers (and have raised two teenage sons to adult hood so far 👏🏻🎉) and adults plus little kids and middle kids LOL. My 12-year-old is just about 6 foot tall. When I say I use one bag, I also share that I add other things to it such as rice. 3 pounds of meat, plus rice and vegetables is enough for our dinner, but we won’t have leftovers. Today I fed 11 people including kids ages 18, 15, 12, 11, nine, seven, four, and one. 5 pounds of sloppy Joes and we have about half of that left for another meal. I want leftovers, that’s what I have to do some big batch cooking to get ahead.

Might I suggest something to you…I worked in a restaurant cooking for ten years….we were required to wash all veggies in water and vinegar to kill bacteria….shiny veggies like egg plant, apples cukes etc got a salt rub to get the spray off of them….. Just rising with water does not kill the bacteria that the products are exposed to…even organic had to be cleaned this way….you don’t know who has handled them and where they laid before you buy it. Just saying…….I had to wash even bags of spinach and lettuce, all leaf greens in vinegar water Even organic ones…. Love your new kitchen….🥰 Today I’m going to make freezer meals that if I have to I can warm on our wood stove if the power goes out or just to save electric….I’m tired of canning everything….canned chicken and pork is not my favorite texture for those but hey I’m still prepping it that way. These freezer meals are used on I’m too tired to cook days and Sundays when I like a break from dirty dishes and stove.

Try adding sweet pickle relish, brown sugar, a little mustard ( any kind you like or have in ketchup and pour your ketchup mixture over your meatloaf for the last 10 minutes to get good and bubbly. So so good! Same mixture mixed in your sloppy Joe’s. I use to cook for a daycare as a cook. Kids love it. Love watching you!!

Jammerill, you have to get the Vidalia Chop Wizard. I am on my third one and I would gladly pay the 20 bucks, well it is over 20 now with inflation over gain. Every 3 months I chop up 2 red, yellow, and orange bell peppers, and 4 green. It takes me less than 10 minutes to chop them and put them in the freezer for future use. Last me and my hubby about 3 months. I do the same with whole and sliced mushrooms, ease of use, and I always have them.

The people on TickTock are Maine and they are not used to you they probably don’t watch your KZfaq videos. But as people on KZfaq know how well you feed your children. I’m 59 years old and I would like to be one of your children just so I could eat your food. Lol so don’t pay attention to those people being so brutal when you feed your kids corn and applesauce. It’s just craziness over there.
