No, I don't think so. KC3 famously told the Queen that he was no longer taking H's calls because 'I'm not a bank'. Contact between them now is, supposedly, zero, despite the puff pieces about zoom calls coming from Montecito. Therefore, how would H actually even ask his father for money to pay the legal fees for the court cases that his father strongly advised him not to get involved with? And if KC3 wasn't having it when the Queen was still alive, why would he be compliant now, when he himself has been publicly labelled a racist and his wife portrayed as an amoral floozy and wicked stepmother, amongst other things?

As a scorpio myself it takes a lot for us to finally give up especially on sons and daughters. It takes a lot for to finally get impatient and say enough is enough and my feeling is that Charles will never totally give up on Harry but, right now with all that is going on with his cancer battle happening I think Charles is thinking about himself and his health. I have read some headlines that are saying that Charles is really starting to lose his patience with Harry and is ready to give up on him and when that happens Harry will come to regret what he has done to his father, brother and sister in law and their family. I read that William has now taken on the role his grandfather had in the family the role of disciplinarian and has banned both Harry and Meghan from returning to the royal family. I also believe that William is the real power behind the throne he has a lot power and I think his father relies om his strength for guidance, support, trust and advice. I think behind the scenes William is the real boss. I believe that Harry is going to be in for a real shock because I've read that he wants back in the royal family and take up being a working royal again and he's going to try and bully his way back in I think he'll meet his match with William he's not as weak as his father and will fight back.

I keep hearing how Diana spoiled H. and this is the reason for his bad behavior today. But it's KC who has been covering up for the SPOILED ADULT he has become. (I don't hear anything about that from Neil Sean or Lady C). This is why H fully expects his father to fix all this for him. His horrible behavior has been covered up for years.

I have to say I'm not surprised to see the cards show a "rescue". I've always had the feeling the RF is waiting and watching, not extending a hand to help him until he is at a specific point. When I think "rescue", I don't think of sending a packet of money, but more having someone bundle H up and take him to a bolthole for rehab, detox, and proper mental health care. But H *has* to be at a place where he's willing to do this and actually *do the work* required, and it's very likely the RF knows this, and have been advised by mental health professionals.

Hello Paula, great reading as ever. Not sure the uk public would forgive the king if he bailed Harry out. Just my opinion, but, if they pay his bills, he may continue his litigation streak, as he cannot lose.

The late Queen asked Charles why he wasn't taking H phone calls he replied " I'm not a bank". IMO that was when the spite started the thrashing of the RF with OW, the book, the interviews all done to hurt and aim to destroy the Monarchy which is a huge part of British culture IMO.

I agree that the King is watching as H&M burn through every penny, partnership, friendship, deal etc, knowing that the marriage will probably end once the money and prestige is gone. H doesn't know how to budget money because he's never had to take responsibility. Easy come easy go. The well goes dry some day.

We cannot presume KC3 will rescue Harry entirely. I believe Harry’s father has always known what is going on and given him as much leeway as he can. I think the “waiting and watching” card is a dad who has grieved most of his life over his son and his own part in raising him. I do not believe he will get Harry out of trouble this time. Even if he wanted to, it would affect his relationship with his other family members, as well as the people of the UK and the Commonwealth. I think he waits and watches and hopes there will be pieces of his son to pick up someday. You can’t be a dad and not wish that. But it does not mean Harry will be a Prince or in the LOS or on the list of people who could take over for the King. That is over. And once the wicked witch of the west is done with Harry, I’m sure the dad just hopes there is enough left of his son to put into rehab or a place where doctors could help him.

As a parent who loves his child, King Charles will be there for him when the time is right. If Haz gets a divorce and he's at the lowest of the low, KC will try to help, to bring him back home, as he knows how much therapy and recovery Haz will need at that moment. BUT it will depend on Haz if he will ask for help and allow that help to be given, the only thing King Charles can do is to wait for his son to ask for help. Will Haz do that? Who knows.... It will have to be on his own terms (don't forget he's a Prince and the King's son...), and I don't think that his father will accept ANY of his terms. In my opinion, it might be like this: "I can help you, I'll pay for treatment and recovery, but you'll have to retreat from the public view for a long time, until you'll be functional again, and when the time is right, we'll see what else we can do with you". No return to public life and duties, no hugs and kisses, no family gatherings and parties, no big money allowances, only treatment, therapy and recovery from all the addictions and the trauma he went through. The sure thing is that KC cannot leave his son without help. Of course, all these are my own speculations, thoughts, opinions and feelings only.

Wouldn't it be a conflict of interest for the King to be funding lawsuits? I think it would be incredibly bad for the monarchy so I don't believe the King is paying for Haz's endless legal bills.

If KC pays anything it should be for the costs H has burdened on the UK citizens/taxpayers. It's not KC's fault but it is his self-indulgent, entitled, arrogant brat of a son. It would be the one time direct involvement by the monarch might be acceptable.

All trust fund babies are the same. Unless their parents are themselves willing to live frugally (which they won't be), the kids know they can drive their Bugatti into a tree and another one will appear the next day. Harry is far from "the fall guy". He's the one who is suing, he knew there was a chance he wouldn't win. I think maybe this is not at all how he thought things would go but he knew there was a possibility. Maybe Sherborn is covering the costs until the case is settled. Perhaps Charles will pay off his legal bills in exchange for Harry giving up all his titles, his place in the LOS and any future inheritance Harry might feel he is entitled to. OMG!! Watching this reading I just realized - henry may have taken loans or promised the lawyers that he would pay when he received his inheritance from father's estate (planning on his father dying). There are a LOT of slugs in the US that advertise loans based on inheritances. If this is true, I hope His Majesty leaves henry's share of inheritance to henry's children (if they exist) and that neither of the parents can use the trusts as collateral.

harry must be really worried that his father will die and he'll be left with the brother he's tried so hard to destroy to give him sympathy. Harry should take his inheritance and try his best to keep the grasping claw of his wife from getting her greedy hands on it.
