For people discovering this now, Big Hit was subsidiary/joint management with JYP Entertainment. The group 2AM, which is the brother group of 2PM, was managed by Big Hit before BTS debuted. 2AM was the ballad group and 2PM was the sing and dance group. When the groups were together they'd be called One Day. why was this recommended after like eight years what-

For a those who have no idea what is happening, This band is called 2AM and they are the brother group of the JYP Band 2PM. Bang PD used to be a producer for JYP and when he set up his own company JYP and Bighit were sharing the management of these 2 brother groups. 2AM are considered second generation idols. A very common feature of second generation idols was that boy bands would hilariously cover girl groups and vice versa. Not only would they cover each other but also collab with each other on year end stages. Here they are practicing a medley of some of the biggest hits at that time. Y'all should check out 2am!!!! They have EXTREMELY STRONG vocals and most of their songs are like ballads or laid back (cuz those are the kind of songs you would listen to at 2am in the night) Hope this helped!
