Love this channel but disagree, it’s about using your personal features to better conform to the standard (which is having a small face, pouty lips, big eyes, etc.) while trying to appear as “natural” as possible.

If anyone is struggling with the blending, use a blush powder. They blend like magic on the edge of your lips. This look amazing since it matches with the blush on your cheeks too

I absolutely love this lips technique.... its the one I been using for years so I would like everione to know that this is cute for pictures but if you're using any technique with gloss as soon as you talk a few minutes it's all gone, so if you want your lips to look like this for long time use matte lipstick

Has anyone with smaller flatter lips tried this? In the video the girls have bigger lips than I do and I’m afraid it won’t work. I’ll still try this out when I can but I really hope it works. Also, I’m glad someone finally made a video on it because I always saw Asian girls with these smudged pouty lip and could never get mines to look like that. I thought it was due to then having bigger natural pouty lips, but hopefully when I try this with mine it’ll work! I’ll try to update if I do it soon and let y’all know if it work for my lips.

i thought about this immediately. i don't even have the space on my lips to really draw definitive lines in the middle of them. they also aren't puffy like the models- they are wider. this is why i only follow makeup tutorials on models who look like me- same eye shape or lip shape. pretty but i'll have to pass on this one.

i tried this today using brown liptint for "contouring" the inner part, a bit of nude brown lip cream for blending, and then tiiiiiny bit of nude pink on the outer corners to fuse the colors together with concealer. it really looks more plump and 3D!

I grew up so insecure of my lips, it's big and thick. I was called different names when I was in elementary school. So I always think that my lips are so thick and it destroys my face. Even if it's trendy I still think it doesn't match my face. I watch more and more makeup tutorial videos that would help me make my lips smaller and western makeup was no help. Asian makeup tutorial helps me in different ways. So here's what I did to my lips: • I shave my mustache ( It did not grow thicker to me, Idk to others). • I overline my upper lips • conceal the upper side of my lips • put eyeliner to the corner of my lips to make it upturned. • used matte lipstick. Before I was so scared of overlining it because I always think that it will look more puffy. I have a small chin so I only overline the philtrum at the upper lip to make it balance . No matter how thick your lips are as long as it is defined it will look good.

My problem with this though is... it only works for pictures, if you just went out and about your life all these products and shading will be mostly gone after a couple pf hours if you decide to drink or eat something, so then you'd need to take the time to go to a mirror and reapply everything. I'm too lazy for that :p

It’s funny cause I hated my lips when I was in high school. Anime was such a huge thing 15 years ago and people wanted to have thin anime lips. Hmm maybe instead of a dark brown color you could try like a deeper mauve? I think that would be a pretty contrast with the brown liner that’s closest to your lip color ❤️ hope this helps

All i have on my face right now is lip stain and mascara. I got tired of people telling me that I need to be looking more darker than my actual skin tone, so everybody started calling me and telling me that I look dead so I just figured out right I'm going to run with that and I'm just going to say I'm already dead inside, if I get told I look dead. Es gracioso, se siente como dibujar sobre una cara, en el dibujo se deben de colocar sombras para que el rostro se vea realista, pero una cara REAL ya debería verse REALISTA y aún así hay que hacer se todo para darle volumen a los labios...
