For anyone who gets a new 2GIG Go!Control security system, changing the master code is one of the first things you're going to want to do. The master code is the code that you arm the system with, but it also allows an user into the most base level of programming which will allow them to add users, attach or detach from the network, as well as other user-based functions. In this video Sterling gives us a quick rundown on how to change the mastercode on the 2GIG GO!Control panel.

I bought a house and I had this system and I do not know the security code how can I do it to restart it so that it has the factory code

Does the system have an alarm.com communicator installed? If you are unsure, try opening it up and sending pictures of the inside to support@alarmgrid.com so we can provide further assistance.

I had this unit installed on a condo I have purchased, and we accidentally armed the system and it's activated because we then opened the front door. We cannot figure out how to reset this device. I am going to send a picture of the unit to support@alarmgrid.com

If the system is currently armed and you don't know the codes, there's no way to get it disarmed without trying all codes from 0001-9999. Is there any signage in or around the home that would indicate who was possibly monitoring the system? If so, you can try to call that company to see if they can give you the code. Otherwise, you can try asking the old owners.
