Sterling explains how to install a CP22-345 security system which is also known as the 2GIG Go!Control panel. This 2GIG GO!Control installation will take an end user from beginning to end, showing you how to permanently mount this amazing panel on the wall. The 2GIG wireless control panels are one of the most reliable, simple to install systems and a favorite among DIYers. For those that have been working with companies like Vivint, this panel will look very familiar, it's the same unit that they have installed. In this video, Sterling takes us from having no security system to having a functional, working system that is simple enough to put up that even you can do it ;P. The Go!Control was among the very first security systems made for end-users to be able to pick up and use right away. While this video doesn't demonstrate its ease of use, Sterling does a great job of showing how easy it is to install.

I currently own a Honeywell Lynx Plus, can the transformer be used with the 2gig go control? I know the motions and door/window sensors can be programmed.

i have almost the same unit, except under the plus sign it doesnt have the word EMERGENCY, it has pictures of 3 things, police, fire and a plus sign.. how do you find out what model number you have, all the boards say 2GIG, and does have a Z-Wave sticker in blue when i took off the control panel from the wall, Which i think was never enabled.. The problem is that yesterday, the whole system just shut down, like someone unplugged the unit.. The only thing that i have done with it is: took out the cord from the socket, and plugged it back in.. then while the plug was in took out the battery.. but still does not work.. Will this unit work if the battery is depleted or is out of the unit?..Is there a check list i can do... This unit is not being monitored, we did not renew the contract, and has been over for 2 years..

I don’t know if this could still be a thing but my grandparents forgot the password and pulled it out of the wall and throwing away the battery and I was trying to re install with positive and negitave wire and found it in a crawl space but can’t find a plug

I can disconnect or silence the siren but continue to operate the buzzer? either through the panel or disconnected some cable? because I do not want to sound the siren if between some thief

+Ernesto Cavazos No, you can't disconnect the panel's siren and have it still go into alarm mode.

I have a 2gig GC3 control panel. I am installing flood/temp sensors 2gig FT1-345. What Sensor type should the sensor have. The 24 hour auxiliary does not even give a tamper when tampered less none a water alarm when tested with water.

What version is your panel? It states that the GC3 panel must be 3.1 or later for it to support the FT1-345. I checked my GC3, and it is showing version 3.0.0, so I'm not sure a Firmware version to support that particular sensor is available yet. You can check your Firmware by going to System Info & Usage from the home screen, and then System Info.

williebasil, I'm not sure there is an update available that will support that device at the moment. To my knowledge, 2GIG hasn't released any firmware updates since the GC3 was launched. We've been waiting.

As far as we've heard, 2Gig has not released that update yet. We're hoping it's coming early next year but they had originally promised quarterly firmware updates (the panel was released in the beginning of the year) and we never even got one this year so it's hard to say.
