I thought I would never see another player who really knew how to play Aulus. Most Aulus players haven't "grown up" yet and still use the Windtalker + War Axe combo. I just want to say: War Axe is for Sustain Fighters now, it's time for Aulus to say "goodbye" to his old friend. In addition, Aulus' Skill 2 already gives a lot of Attack Speed, and Windtalker seems pointless. The job of the Windtalker item is to give Crit Heroes more Attack Speed, but Aulus already has 200% Attack Speed and doesn't need more. If Aulus uses Windtalker, it is the same as Freya using Windtalker. There is no difference. Aulus has three core items: Haas' Claws, Great Dragon Spear and Berserker's Fury. Although Aulus already has a high Attack Speed, Haas' Claws are still needed to get more Crit Chance & Lifesteal. I personally recommend all Haas' Claws users to build it as 1st item, its attributes are perfect. You can have higher Lifesteal & Crit Chance in the early game, whereas Berserker's Fury is expensive and has fewer attributes. Then let me talk about the Great Dragon Spear, one of the core items of Aulus. As one of the top five GDS users recommended by Patch Note before, he needs its attributes. As a hero that is not suitable for Windtalker, Great Dragon Spear becomes the best substitute. I recommend buying this after buying Haas' Claws. Since Aulus relies more on always using Skill 2 to increase Attack Speed, it is better to get Cooldown Reduction earlier. As for the remaining items, you can consider Hunter Strike, Blade of Despair, Malefic Roar or Sea Halberd. Or Immorality, Rose Gold Meteor, Winter Truncheon blah blah blah... Btw, sometimes giving him a Defense Item is also quite useful. As for Emblem, it is the same as mine, but I recommend changing Swift to Fatal, you will get higher Crit Chance & Crit Damage. Although I am not an Aulus main, nor a Top Global Aulus, but I am at least one of the few players who understand how to really play Aulus.

Aulus is so underrated wtf

Tried Aulus but he is only good if there is good CC tank and Front in your team. Also you need purify for Aulus to avoid any CC. Aulus would be good with Tigreal, Minotour, Ruby in your team.

Been using aulus since the past 2 months and he is really good when you know when to position yourself and he can mostly 1v1 fighters head on like thamuz or sun, been using him as core or exp with inspire. But over all he can lose to a high mobility hero or mostly dash like benet to kill him💀, thats what i think
