Something that would make 2k better is just overall not being lazy. We've barely gotten any locker codes compared to other years. That "special insert" bs lowkey pisses me off, they removed the auction house, ruined Moment cards, and made probably some of my favorite challenges/agendas all year "Playoffs" a complete disappointment. 2K better have a better game next year bc they ruined this game.

It's bad. I'm sure it's allot more ppl complaining this time. I've personally emailed some of the developers and explained what they're doing for the vets. I've had every single copy since 1999. 2k has gotten so bad u can't fully enjoy your game u paid $100 for. U end up spending hundreds per year just to not even have the best cards. ESPECIALLY this 100overall bs. Those players are crazy good. DM Wemby, crazy good. But if $20/40 don't get u the best cards when these packs drop. It's just not worth it. I've fully explained to them I quit mycareer because of the transactions after season 2. I'm definitely quitting myteam next year cause I have a feeling it'll be worse. PlayNow online is the last game mode to play lol. 2k is sad as hell

Oh but the FIRST basketball game that allows you to turn around on defense and react properly on fast breaks and back door cuts...will be the best basketball game. I don't care if it's high school and/or college. I'd drop 2k instantly if I can go back to switching and reacting without animations that prevent u from making certain plays at certain times. It's absolutely visible this year

Every pack in the first 2 or 3 seasons was a deluxe pack now you’re lucky if you get a card that’s part of the theme they’re trying to promote

I’ve played 120 TTOffline and haven’t seen pd coach or any Deluxe packs except one from Leap Year and it was an amethyst that I already had . I’ve probably won 20 diamond Chris Webber cards . I mean 100th game was a good payoff but not enough in my opinion .

I’ve played 375 TTO games and got the pd coach but only saw him the one time I got lucky same with playoffs deluxe. I’ve pretty much just been getting either webber or bridges it’s beyond annoying.

That's why I've been playing MLB the show and didn't even have to pay for the game and have a lot of the best cards in that game only playing for about a week and only spent 4$ on some stubs at the beginning tons of shit to grind i really like it tbh ...I still play enough 2k to get the free cards but not like I use to the last 2 seasons haven't been great with all the gambling packs I love the game but it hard to get into when there's not much to do for grinding for decent rewards and amd all the good cards are packs only its becoming garbage

This is 100% correct. The mt black market was taking profit from 2k. So essentially we created the problem. Content creators spending millions of VC is compounding the problem bc it just keeps pumping money into the developer. The developers main goal is to make money the players experience and enjoyment is also a priority but if they don’t make money they can’t keep making the game. If people stopped buying packs with VC then maybe we would have the old market back again or something else entirely.

2k thought if they forced the game on people who spend money only they wouldn’t lose much profit cause the so called “hardcore fan base” is still playing. They believed that we would play and spend money on anything they throw at us, but this game is so trash that they have never seen such a drop in there specific micro transactions rate, that they had to scrap the player market idea, and start forcing gambling again to make up for the difference they’ve seen this first half of this 2k cycle.
