I’m just gonna ask, why are they replacing the signals if the old ones work just fine? The old ones did they’re job properly so why would you want to replace them?

They may have _badly_ malfunctioned before.

Most likely because they are installing PTC on the crossing. They just add it to the bungalow (I think? Idk much about PTC installing.), so don't ask why they have to replace _everything_ but that's usually what happens.

Great video waste of money in my opinion. Because the old signals did not even look that old. The general signals type 3 electronic bell still worked. They should have kept it.

Honestly there was nothing wrong with these old signals. They were working just fine. Edit: NGL, it's kind of a waste of money to replace crossings that are working just fine.

Cracked base or persistent issues also might be a rotation of refurbing to keep the signals reliable

Electronic I do like it because it sounds nice but they usually sometimes may die a lot put mechanical bells they probably last longer

They took care of them unlike BNSF (no offense) who does not repaint them.

Bro this may be an old video but what’s the point in removing the old signals they literally looked like they worked perfectly but my favorite part is when they cut the power for the old signals bc when the lights just turn red it looks like they are looking at you to be real.
