Somewhat odd. The fitter said Thomas needs a face balanced putter, but isn’t his gamer already face balanced?

A true putter fitting would have had measurements for putter length, usually a wrist to floor measurement. Also loft and lie are very important depending on stroke pattern. Maybe this was done behind the scenes but i don't think this fitting was detailed enough. JMPO

Thanks for watching Joe! Loft and lie are very important and are definitely inspected during our fittings. Here, we focused on stroke type and head design quite a bit as those seem to be the questions posed most often to us by customers. Those who know Larry know he is perhaps the best in the business and know he will dissect every little detail in a putter fitting!

Ping app. says 'slight', fitters goes to face balance?! Also, Thomas's current putter is already FB, but in a blade style?! Not sure about this fitting?! Yes, Thomas made putts, but is that a confidence thing/Honeymoon phase!? Missing left needs some toe hang?! Spider X might have been a better fit?! Good luck Thomas! Hope you find your new 'magic' stick?!

I appreciate what you are trying to show when it comes to a fitting, but sounds like it wasn't finished?! Might have confused others that do not have our knowledge?! Looking forward to see what you end up in the bag!?

Totally agree, the boys at txg suggested that face balance shuts left more easily! Hmmm

@@alanburch8499, Toe Hang *slows* Face Opening during the Backswing and *slows* Face Closure during the Forward Swing. Face Balanced putters have almost No Opening or Closing of the Face relative to Path.
