2NE1 was and still is one of the most important girl group in the history of the kpop. The group was conformed by CL(the blonde one), Park Bom (the girl with black straight hair), Go Minzy( the girl with short hair) and Sandara Park ( the girl with a little pony tail). They all have stage presence, and the group was known for its music rather than the dance moves they made on stage except for Go Minzy who was the main dancer of the group. -Park Bom was the main vocalist of the group. - CL was the leader and the main rapper. -Sandara Park was the visual of the group.

For a big big portion of time, 2NE1 was referred as the female BIGBANG, CL as the female G-Dragon. BIGBANG & 2NE1 are truly intertwined in a way. And they cover of each other’s songs are truly fantastic. I also very much appreciate the fact that I’m not the only one that noticed how much 2NE1 influenced Mamamoo. I am a Blackjack and left the whole kpop sphere when they disbanded and Mamamoo brought me back. I suspect it was because they reminded me of them. 2NE1 can be pronounced 21 or To Anyone. Both works! 2NE1 means 21st century New Evolution!

Actually it's very rare to see idols now that can control the crowd. 80% of the perfs right now are hyped by their fans only and not by the audience... Idols/Artists must give the feels of excitement, comfort and fun for the audience coz that how's the music should be - it's for everyone, to anyone...

When 2NE1 debuted they were called the "Female BIGBANG" for a while so you aren't wrong to see the similarities. Plus both the BB and 21 members are really close even during pre-debut. Those were the days when the girls and guys were allowed to interact with each other hahaha xD Also funny you mention the scream at the beginning. CL actually shared that she would get scolded if she didn't do it especially when they often are the starters of the YG FAMILY concerts.

2ne1 really know how to PERFORM! their stage presence has always been so charming and capturing. it's why they're so loved to this day; they know how to fill an entire stadium perfectly. of course their bond as a group, what each individual member brings to the table, and their music are obviously also what attract blackjacks, but their performances and how they command the stage completely is what makes them the queens of kpop!!!

But I remember Jeremy Scott did their outfits for their NEW EVOLUTION CONCERTS (first World Wide Tour Concert from a kpop group)

The band is called The Band Six. They have been touring with Bigbang for years. Both Bigbang as a whole and the member's solo tours. They are like six hidden extra Bigbang members. They also do tours with other YG artists, like 2NE1 here, when BB doesn't have tours or conserts. I feel like the "21 big brothers" line by CL is referring to all the men in YG: Bigbang, Teddy and Choise37 and other YG producers, Epik High, Jinusean etc. 2NE1 was truly something else. The girl at the start is CL. When they used to be in YG, 2NE1 would always open for their concerts for a reason. CL’s opening has to hype everyone up and she sets the tone for the rest of the show. She played such a huge part in building the YG brand for live performances and stage presence. Fun fact, interscope wanted to sign her back in 2009, but she chose to stay with 2NE1. ♥️

I got to see them in LA back in 2012 and it will be hard for anything to top that concert. No one ever sat down and we jumped up and down for nearly the entire show other than doing the sway on the slower songs. My legs cramped pretty bad when I got back to my hotel room as I traveled day of from Texas for that concert after working that morning. I've seen Blackpink, Epik High, Baby Metal, and Heize since then and Epik High was close but not at the same level of just never sitting down and going hard for 2+ hours. Hopefully this pandemic can end soon. I was suppose to see G-Idle last year and was really hyped for that concert. I also really hope we can get a Mamamoo world tour as that would definitely be a crazy show to attend.

As a YG stan, all of YG artists are doing adlibs even treasure are doing it. One of the awarding show I guess last year, they did their adlibs but then they got backlash so they have to muted that part. You hit the nail right on the head! That’s why 2NE1 and Mamamoo will forever be my ultimate bias K-Pop girl groups. They both just have that special something, and what a coincidence that they are both groups of four. CL, or “The Baddest Female” as she is called, is the blonde one who screamed at the beginning and kept hyping the crowd all throughout, and whose stage presence really got your attention. She’s the leader of the group, one of the best leaders in my opinion despite being the second youngest, is the main rapper, a great dancer and a power vocal. She and my beloved Fatal Maknae Lioness Hwasa have always greatly reminded me of each other to the point that in my head they are older and younger sister, filling the void for me when I’m missing the other. CL, my first ultimate bias and now Hwasa, my freaking everything. Hwasa was definitely inspired by CL when it comes to how they present themselves on stage, just as Wheein takes after Park Bom with the unique vocals. It’s no coincidence that CL and Hwasa are both the main ones hyping up the crowd in their respective groups. They both always know how to get a response and make sure the people are always with them.

In Korea, girls usually call their older boyfriends or guys who they're attracted to "oppa." Oppa also means big brother (platonic way, could either be family or close guy friend). So with "I got 21 big brothers / to me, you ain't big brother," CL's basically bragging by saying she's got 21 of these oppas and that she doesn't see this guy she's directly addressing here in that way, implying that she's too good for him LOL

I'm not sure if I remember correctly but it was once explained that the reason why digital instrumentals are used or bands barely play live and mostly act like they do play it live is because the company of the artist will need to pay a ridiculous amount just for it to happen. They have to pay for the sound equipments, connecting the instruments and others. On top of that they have to pay for the lights and other special effects like videos, firworks, etc. It is so expensive that entertainment companies rarely form band groups and just focus on idols.
