Super Hot Take: 2NE1 never had a bad song. They have one of the most impressive discography of any girl group that ever existed.

2ne1 only had 2 full albums, the last one sweeped the chart with every single song one after the other. Also, Park Bom invented PAK before it was even a thing. They only had 6 active years, but their legacy has forever changed Kpop- truly the 4 brave souls defying the stereotype in the lookism-centered industry. They were REAL, no pretentions, no intimidations especially in their live stages. Earning was just secondary 'cause that's how much they loved their craft, and that's why we genuinely connect when we see them in concerts. 4 brave women, and today they proved once again that they DON'T really need a company's approval to pull off another reunion even after OFFICIALLY disbanding. That's REAL badass, not just a concept. 99.9% of disbanded kpop groups are afraid to pull off a reunion on a worldwide festival like Coachella 'cause of the trauma and probably their former company's empty threats. 2ne1 did THAT, while the former ceo of that company was being interrogated in court. Iconic.

It's crazy how 2NE1 was only active for about 6 years, but their discography is so huge and full of hits after hits. This proves that YG has really gotten lazier. Obviously, they can produce, but after Big Bang went on hiatus, and 2NE1 disbanded, every one of their groups who've debuted after have failed to produce consistent comebacks.

Personally, I think 2NE1 end happened because of YG mismanagement. Instead dealing Bom's case properly, YG just stay silent and let public opinions went uncontrollable. After that YG just shaft away the members like broken toys. That time YG should've let Minzy went variety shows like King of Masked Singers when the show at its highest, and gave CL her proper solo. Should've put Bom in therapy for her PS addiction. Then slowly build momentum for 2NE1 comeback.

It's amazing how 2NE1 releases an album with 4 to 6 songs and most of it if not all are hits everytime. All of songs they sang are hits, and 2ne1 only had 2 full albums and 2 mini albums in their whole career. I can clearly remember how all of their songs instantly chart in the whole top 10 list of melon the next hour whenever they release an album. LEGENDARY!
