Ice T been low key hatin on Pac for the longest. a lot of the West coast rappers that were "gangster rappers" hated on Pac after he joined deathrow. i see a lot of it as jealousy because they couldn't compete with Pac in that lane. they were stull successful but after Pac got out and dropped "All eyez on me", all those eyes were on 2Pac, no1 was talking IceT or Ice cube even snoop....he took a lot of their limelight and they hated on him for that

Tupac vs X is a better debate than pac vs big, hov, or nas. Those guys are some of best the lyricists of all time and pac and x make more emotional music that you can feel. It depends on your criteria but IMO x and pac fit the same criteria. you can’t match them up against true lyricists, it’s apples and oranges

@@Imadethistocomment13 I am ukrainian and we listened to X since childhood, RR Anthem, Party Up was worldwide bangers and of course we didn’t understand shit. But I heard that Pac is a legend because this narrative was pushed to us. I loved X songs but never listened to Pac’s music, just knew him as a character and “king of rap”, cause east vs west coast was very hyped throughout whole world. But didn’t ever heard any of his songs, until we got older and find out more about hip hop. But maybe the reason is that Pac died and X was hyping in 2000s. So for me it’s just a different opinions and preferences. Maybe few years older guys enjoyed Pac more, cause they grew up in that timeline.

@@MykolaVynar you are probably right of your analysis, but I do appreciate DMX and I think he is a great artist, but I just put two Tupac in a different place, he did a lot when you consider he passed away at the age of 25, from an extremely extensive music catalog to a few movies that were all hits.

PAC is a top 10. IMO top 4 rapper ever! we need to stop comparing these two X is amazing! but PAC IS PAC for a reason look at :Me against the world, All eyez on me, Makaveli 7 day theory. one of the best three album runs ever! he did so much in so little time, as time passes more and more people underrate he's lyrical ability He was a poet. a voice of a generation.

I love DMX! I can bump SO MANY Songs of him. There is this really lowkey song called Blown Away wich is one of my alltime fav songs but at the end 2pac is clear imo. Absolute no disrespect to one of the greatest and most unique rappers DMX but Pac = Pac. Pac's impact was on another level.
